Description

Conventionally, gaming machines equipped with variable display execution means for displaying multiple patterns in a variable manner are known (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In this gaming machine, when a game ball enters the operating port (start ball entry area), a predetermined lottery such as a jackpot lottery is performed, and the variable display of patterns is started. If, for example, the jackpot lottery is won, the gaming machine will ultimately stop displaying a specific combination of patterns on the variable display execution means, and will transition the game state to a specific control state that is advantageous to the player. In this specific control state, the gaming machine will dispense a large number of game balls by, for example, transitioning the variable prize entry device to a state in which game balls can be entered.
