Description

Conventionally, gaming machines equipped with variable display execution means for displaying multiple patterns in a variable manner are known (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In this gaming machine, when a game ball enters the operating port (start ball entry area), a predetermined lottery such as a jackpot lottery is performed, and the variable display of patterns is started. If, for example, the jackpot lottery is won, the gaming machine will ultimately stop displaying a specific combination of patterns on the variable display execution means, and will transition the game state to a specific control state that is advantageous to the player. In this specific control state, the gaming machine will dispense a large number of game balls by, for example, transitioning the variable prize entry device to a state in which game balls can be entered. Incidentally, such gaming machines are equipped with three-dimensional structures that perform predetermined effects by moving during the display of fluctuations, and lighting display means that display lighting effects in which the state of illumination changes during the display of fluctuations, and the entertainment value for players is enhanced by executing these effects in combination. However, there is a problem in that three-dimensional structures must be prepared for each type of gaming machine. Furthermore, if these three-dimensional structures move during the display process, they can reduce the visibility of other effects, such as light-emitting displays. The objective of this invention is to provide a gaming machine that can enhance the enjoyment of players. The present invention provides a gaming machine comprising: a frame; a door provided to the frame so as to be openable and closable; a game board having a flow path through which game balls can flow, at least a portion of which is visible from a viewing section provided on the door; a starting ball entry area into which game balls can be entered, corresponding to the game board; a variation display means capable of executing a variation display when a game ball enters the starting ball entry area; a variation performance means capable of executing a predetermined variation performance during the period in which the variation display is executed; and a variable ball entry means capable of changing between a state in which it is difficult for game balls to enter and a state in which it is easy for game balls to enter. The game machine is such that when a game ball that has flowed down the flow path enters the starting ball entry area, a predetermined lottery can be performed, and when the result of the predetermined lottery is a predetermined result, a predetermined variable display means is used to display a predetermined variable display, and after the predetermined variable display ends, the state of the variable ball entry means can be changed to a state in which game balls can easily enter, and the door body is equipped with a light display means that can display a light display in which the visible light state can change, at least during the period of the variable display, and the game machine is such that when a player views the game machine from outside the game machine, the state of the game machine The game machine is configured to output predetermined decorative image information so that a decorative image is displayed on a predetermined decorative image display surface different from the variable display means and variable performance means of the game machine and is visible to the player. When a player views the light-emitting performance means of the door body of the game machine from a predetermined position on the front side of the game machine while a decorative image is displayed on the predetermined decorative image display surface, the game machine is configured to display the decorative image in a position that avoids the front side of the light-emitting performance means of the door body. The game machine is configured so that, at least during variable display, a predetermined decorative image displayed on a predetermined decorative image display surface can be displayed in a manner that allows it to move from at least a first position to a second position. When a player views the game machine from a predetermined position on the front side of the game machine while a predetermined decorative image is displayed on the predetermined decorative image display surface, the game machine is configured so that, regardless of whether the predetermined decorative image is displayed at the first position, the second position, or an intermediate position between the first and second positions, it can be displayed in a position that avoids the front side of the game machine's path of game balls flowing down to the starting ball entry area. Furthermore, it is preferable that the gaming machine has a designated decorative image display surface that is separate from the gaming machine itself
