  16. The footwear according to any one of claims 1 to 15, wherein the first layer is provided on the side facing the upper.

Description

This disclosure relates to footwear. The footwear disclosed in Patent Document 1 comprises an upper covering the top of the foot, a sole covering the bottom of the foot, and a tongue wing provided on the inside of the upper. The upper has a collar, which is an opening for inserting the foot into the area enclosed by the upper and the sole. The upper also has a throat, which is an opening with the edge of the collar extending towards the toes. The tongue wing has a tongue that closes the throat from the inside of the upper, and wings (wing-like parts) that extend from the tongue along the width of the foot towards the inner and outer sides, respectively. The tips of each wing-like part are joined to the footwear. Japanese Patent Publication No. 2023-53438 Figure 1 is a perspective view of footwear according to Embodiment 1.Figure 2 is a plan view of footwear according to Embodiment 1.Figure 3 is a diagram of the tongue wing.Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view of footwear cut along the line IV-IV shown in Figure 2.Figure 5 is a plan view of the insole, showing the part where the tip of the first wing section is joined.Figure 6 is an unfolded view of the tongue wing according to the first modified example.Figure 7 is an unfolded view of the tongue wing according to the second modified example.Figure 8 is an unfolded view of the tongue wing according to the third modified example.Figure 9 is an unfolded view of the tongue wing according to the fourth modified example.Figure 10 is an unfolded view of the tongue wing according to the fifth modified example. The embodiments of the footwear according to this disclosure will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. However, this invention is not limited to these embodiments. In the following description, identical parts are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant descriptions are omitted. Figure 1 is a perspective view of footwear according to Embodiment 1 of this disclosure. Figure 2 is a plan view of footwear according to Embodiment 1. Each figure, including Figure 1, shows only the left footwear 1. Since footwear 1 has a symmetrical structure for both the left and right feet, this embodiment describes only the left footwear 1, and the description of the right footwear 1 is omitted. In the following description, the toe side of the wearer's foot of footwear 1 is considered the front, and the heel side is considered the rear. The direction perpendicular to the front-to-back direction when viewing footwear 1 from above is considered the foot width direction. Furthermore, the midline side of the foot in its anatomically correct position is called the medial side, and the side opposite the midline in its anatomically correct position is called the lateral side. That is, the side closer to the midline in its anatomically correct position is called the medial side, and the side further from the midline in its anatomically correct position is called the lateral side. Also, unless otherwise specified, the vertical direction refers to the direction perpendicular to both the anterior-posterior direction and the width direction of the foot. Footwear 1 comprises an upper 2, an insole 3, an outsole 4, and a tongue wing 5. The upper 2 covers the top surface of the outsole 4. A space for the wearer's foot is provided between the upper 2 and the outsole 4. The upper 2 has an insertion opening 21 into which the wearer's foot is inserted, a front opening 22 extending forward from the insertion opening 21, and a bottom opening 23 formed opposite the insertion opening 21. The upper 2 is fixed to the sole 4 by stitching, welding, bonding, or a combination thereof. The upper 2 has multiple eyelets 24 arranged front to back along the edge of the front opening 22. A shoelace (not shown in the illustration) is threaded through the eyelets 24. By pulling the shoelace through the eyelets 24, the width of the front opening 22 can be narrowed, allowing the upper 2 to fit more snugly against the wearer's foot. The insole 3 is joined to the upper 2. The insole 3 closes the bottom opening 23 formed in the upper 2. Note that the footwear 1 does not necessarily have an insole 3. In this case, the bottom opening 23 is closed by, for example, the sole 4. The sole 4 is located beneath the upper 2. The sole 4 supports the wearer's foot from the sole side. The sole 4 is the component that makes contact with the ground. The sole 4 is made of a cushioning material to absorb the impact on the foot during walking and running. The tongue wing 5 is located inside the upper 2. Figure 3 is an exploded view of the tongue wing. The tongue wing 5 comprises a tongue 51 and a wing portion 52. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the tongue 51 closes at least a portion of the front opening 22 formed in the upper 2. The wing portion 52 is formed to extend from the tongue 51 along the width direction of the foot. The wing portion 52 has a first wing portion 53 extending medially from the tongu
