Claims (1)
- An opening device comprising a frame, a door, and a sealing material; the frame having a sealing material holder; the sealing material having a mounting portion held by the sealing material holder and a door stop portion; and characterized in that the mounting portion is bonded to the bottom wall of the sealing material holder within the sealing material holder.
Description
This invention relates to an opening device installed in the opening of a building. In opening devices such as entrance doors installed in building openings, improved watertightness is required. This is a cross-sectional view showing a first embodiment of the opening device of the present invention. This is a longitudinal cross-sectional view of the same opening device. This is a front view of the opening device as seen from the outside. This is a cross-sectional view showing a magnified view of the area around the vertical sealing material of the opening device. This is a cross-sectional view showing an enlarged view of the area around the vertical sealing material of the opening device, illustrating the state when the door is open. This is a cross-sectional view showing the condition of the opening device when the outdoor side is submerged in water. As a comparative example of the opening device of the first embodiment, this is a cross-sectional view showing the condition when the exterior side is submerged in water when a conventional vertical sealing material is installed. This is a cross-sectional view showing a second embodiment of the opening device of the present invention. This is a longitudinal cross-sectional view of the same opening device. This is a front view of the opening device as seen from the outside. This is a cross-sectional view showing a magnified view of the area around the vertical sealing material of the opening device. This is an exterior front view showing the frame of the opening device with adhesive tape attached. This is a cross-sectional view showing the procedure for attaching vertical sealing material to the vertical frame. This is a vertical cross-sectional view showing the procedure for attaching the horizontal sealing material to the bottom frame. This is a perspective view of the lower outer periphery of the frame of the opening device. This is a perspective view showing the state when the cap is attached to the lower end of the vertical frame.(a) is an outdoor front view of the cap, (b) is a side view of the same, and (c) is a bottom view of the same. This is a perspective view showing a situation in which water seeps into the room from the lower end of the vertical frame in a conventional opening device. The embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Figures 1 to 6 show a first embodiment of the opening device of the present invention. This opening device is applied to the entrance door of a house and, as shown in Figures 1 to 3, comprises a frame 1 attached to an opening in the building's structure and a door 2 attached to the frame 1 with hinges 16 so as to open outwards. Frame 1 is formed by framing an upper frame 17, a lower frame 18, and left and right vertical frames 10, 10, as shown in Figures 1 to 3. As shown in Figure 1, the left and right vertical frames 10, 10 are constructed by connecting an outdoor-side profile 19 and an indoor-side profile 20 made of aluminum with a resin-based insulating bridge material 21, thereby providing insulation. The exterior profile 19 has a hollow section 13 with a roughly rectangular cross-section, and a nailing fin 12 is formed on the interior end protruding outwards. The nailing fin 12 is fixed to the building structure 22 by nails or screws (not shown) driven in from the exterior. In addition, a tight material holder 23 is formed on the interior end of the inner surface of the exterior profile 19, and a tight material 24 held in the tight material holder 23 abuts against the outer surface of the door 2. The interior profile 20 has a door stop portion 14 that protrudes inward, and a tight material holder 5 with a roughly C-shaped cross section is provided on the door stop portion 14 that protrudes outward. A vertical tight material (tight material) 3 is provided that is held by the tight material holder 5 and comes into contact with the interior side surface of the door 2. As shown in Figure 4, the vertical sealing material 3 has a mounting portion 6 held within the sealing material holder 5, a facing portion 7 located on the outdoor side of the mounting portion 6 and facing the outdoor surface 5a of the sealing material holder 5, an outer peripheral side wall (pressed portion) 8 extending straight outwards from a position slightly away from the outer peripheral end of the facing portion 7 toward the inner peripheral side, an inner peripheral side wall 25 extending outwards from the inner peripheral end of the facing portion 7 inclined toward the inner peripheral side, a door stop contact portion 9 curving toward the outer peripheral side from the tip of the inner peripheral side wall 25, and a connecting wall 26 connected to the outer peripheral side wall 8 and the inner peripheral side wall 25 to form a hollow portion. The mounting portion 6, the opposing portion 7, the outer peripheral wall 8, and the base portion of the inner peripheral wall 25 (the hatched portion in the figure) are mad
