Description

This invention relates to laminates and packaging materials. For packaging of pharmaceuticals such as tablets and capsules, and food products, PTP (Press Through Packaging) is used. A packaging form called PTP (Press-Through Packaging) is used. This PTP packaging generally consists of a blister container made of a resin-based sheet with a recess for containing the packaged item, and an aluminum film that serves as a lid to cover the recess from the back of the blister container after the capsule or other item has been placed in the recess. Pharmaceutical companies conduct trial runs using only PTP packaging materials before manufacturing products in PTP packaging to check for any malfunctions in the production line. Therefore, a certain amount of PTP packaging waste is generated during these trial runs. While some of this PTP packaging waste is recycled, it is mainly incinerated as industrial waste because the resin sheet and the aluminum lid material are difficult to separate. From the perspective of effectively utilizing limited resources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, there is a demand for blister containers with a unified resin composition (monomaterialization) and lid materials that can be separated and recycled. From a recyclability standpoint, development is underway on unstretched films based on olefin resins, designed for easy recycling, as an alternative to aluminum film, for use as lid materials for PTP packaging. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses an easily breakable film for PTP packaging lid materials, composed of a base layer containing a cyclic olefin resin. International Publication No. 2024/029377 The present invention will be described in detail below, based on its embodiments. <Laminated structure> One embodiment of the present invention (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "the laminate of this embodiment") is characterized by comprising a film in which a first substrate layer containing a cyclic olefin resin, a second substrate layer containing a cyclic olefin resin and an inorganic filler, and a polyolefin resin layer are laminated in this order, and the combined thickness of the first substrate layer and the second substrate layer is 40% or more of the thickness of the film, and a first coating layer provided on the side facing the polyolefin resin layer. As a result of diligent research by the present inventors, the easily breakable film disclosed in Patent Document 1 has a structure comprising a base layer containing a cyclic olefin resin and a heat-seal layer. Since the heat-seal layer needs to be in direct contact with the container, the first coating layer, such as a printing layer or a functional coating layer, needs to be provided on top of the base layer containing the cyclic olefin resin. However, it was found that providing the first coating layer on the base layer containing the cyclic olefin tends to impair the easily breakable properties of the base layer. Therefore, the present inventors found that by laminating a first base layer containing a cyclic olefin resin, a second base layer containing a cyclic olefin resin and an inorganic filler, and a polyolefin resin layer in this order, and by configuring the film so that the combined thickness of the first and second base layers is 40% or more of the film's layer thickness, and by providing the first coating layer on the side of the film facing the polyolefin resin layer, the decrease in the easily breakable properties of the laminate can be suppressed. In other words, according to the laminate of this embodiment, a laminate with excellent breakability can be obtained even in a configuration having a first coating layer such as a printed layer or a functional coating layer, and a packaging body using the laminate as a lid material can be obtained. <<Film>> The film used in the laminate of this embodiment is constructed by laminating a first substrate layer containing a cyclic olefin resin, a second substrate layer containing a cyclic olefin resin and an inorganic filler, and a polyolefin resin layer in this order. It is preferable that the combined thickness of the first and second substrate layers relative to the total thickness of the film is 40% or more. In the preferred embodiment, the laminated film has excellent breakability due to the ratio of the combined thickness of the first and second substrate layers relative to the total thickness of the film being 40% or more, and is suitable for use as a lid material for PTP packaging. From a similar viewpoint, it is more preferable that the ratio of the combined thickness of the first and second substrate layers relative to the total thickness of the film be 45% or more and 47% or more, respectively. Furthermore, the ratio of the total thickness of the first substrate layer and the second substrate layer to the total thickness of the film is preferably 95% or less, and more preferably 90% or less. The average thickness of the first and second substrate laye
