Claims (11)

  1. Compound (A) having a thiirane group or a thiethane group, Resin (B) and It contains, A composition wherein the resin (B) comprises a resin (B1) containing structural units derived from an unsaturated compound having a carbazole ring.
  2. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the resin (B1) further comprises structural units derived from an unsaturated compound having a cyclic ether structure with 2 to 4 carbon atoms.
  3. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the resin (B1) further comprises structural units derived from a (meth)acrylate having a tertiary alkyl group.
  4. The composition according to claim 1, further comprising an alicyclic epoxy compound (C) having a structure in which an alicyclic unsaturated hydrocarbon is epoxidized.
  5. The composition according to claim 1, further containing acid (D).
  6. The composition according to claim 1, further comprising an acid generator (E).
  7. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the compound (A) comprises a compound represented by formula (II). [In formula (II), L 1x represents a single bond or a divalent group, and the two L 1x may be the same or different. A 1x represents either an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, and the two A 1x atoms may be the same or different. However, at least one of the two A 1x atoms is a sulfur atom. mx represents either 0 or 1, and the two mx values may be the same or different. nx represents an integer between 0 and 6. R 1x represents a monovalent substituent, and if there are multiple R 1x substituents , they may be the same or different. R 2x represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent, and the two R 2x atoms may be the same or different.
  8. A molded article obtained by curing the composition described in any one of claims 1 to 7.
  9. A cured product of the composition according to any one of claims 1 to 7.
  10. A display device comprising the cured product described in claim 9.
  11. A solid-state image sensor comprising the cured product described in claim 9.

Description

This invention relates to compositions and their cured products, molded products, display devices, and solid-state image sensors. High-refractive index materials are in demand in the field of optical instruments. Lenses can be obtained using high-refractive index materials, and these lenses can control the optical path within optical instruments. Lenses are used in solid-state image sensors to improve the light-gathering efficiency of each photoelectric conversion element, and in display devices to improve the light extraction efficiency from pixels. Conventionally, compositions containing compounds having thiirane or thiethane groups and alkali-soluble resins are known as high-refractive index materials (for example, Patent Document 1). Japanese Patent Publication No. 2024-035818 The embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below. In this specification, numerical ranges indicated using "~" represent a range that includes the numbers before and after "~" as the minimum and maximum values, respectively. In numerical ranges described in stages within this specification, the upper or lower limit of one numerical range may be replaced with the upper or lower limit of another numerical range described in stages. Furthermore, in numerical ranges described within this specification, the upper or lower limit of that range may be replaced with the values shown in the examples. In this specification, (meth)acrylate means acrylate or the corresponding methacrylate. The same applies to other similar expressions such as (meth)acryloyloxy group and (meth)acrylic acid ester. In this specification, unless otherwise specified, the materials exemplified below may be used individually or in combination of two or more, to the extent that the conditions are met. The content of each component refers to the total amount of any multiple substances corresponding to that component, unless otherwise specified. <Composition> The composition of one embodiment contains a compound (A) having a thiirane group or a thietan group (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "component (A)") and a resin (B) (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "component (B)"). The composition of this embodiment may further contain an alicyclic epoxy compound (C) having a structure in which an alicyclic unsaturated hydrocarbon is epoxidized (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "component (C)"), an acid (D) (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "component (D)"), an acid generator (E) (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "component (E)"), etc. According to the composition of this embodiment, it is possible to provide a cured product that exhibits a high refractive index and also high transparency. The composition of this embodiment also tends to be excellent in terms of adhesion, film-forming ability, and resistance to yellowing. (A) Component: Compound having a thiirane group or a thiethane group (A) The composition of this embodiment contains component (A). Component (A) may be a curable compound. By containing component (A) in the composition, component (A) itself can polymerize to give a cured product exhibiting a high refractive index. Component (A) can be used without particular limitations as long as it is a compound having at least one thiirane group or thiethane group. Component (A) may, for example, be a compound having at least one group represented by formula (II-a), and preferably a compound having at least one group represented by formula (II-b). In formula (II-a), mx represents either 0 or 1. R 2x represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent. * indicates the joining position. In formula (II-b), L 1x represents a single bond or a divalent group. mx represents either 0 or 1. R 2x represents a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent. * indicates the joining position. Examples of divalent groups represented by L 1x include optionally substituted divalent aliphatic chain hydrocarbon groups; optionally substituted divalent alicyclic hydrocarbon groups; optionally substituted divalent aromatic hydrocarbon groups; and divalent groups consisting of combinations thereof (e.g., aralkylene groups). The methylene group ( -CH2- ) contained in the divalent group may be substituted with -O-, -S-, -NR A- ( RA represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms), -CO-, or -SO2-. Examples of divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon groups include saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon groups. More specifically, examples include methylene groups, ethylene groups, propanediyl groups, butanediyl groups, pentanediyl groups, hexanediyl groups, heptanediyl groups, octanediyl groups, nonanediyl groups, decanediyl groups, undecanediyl groups, dodecanediyl groups, tridecanediyl groups, tetradecanediyl groups, pentadecanediyl groups, hexadecanediyl groups, heptadecanediyl groups, octadecanediyl groups, nonadecanediyl groups, eicosanediyl groups
