Description

This invention relates to a piping support frame, piping including the support frame, and a water tap and/or water outlet unit including the piping. In some cases, water inlets are installed near buildings and tunnels to supply water to the fire extinguishing equipment inside. If a fire occurs inside a building or tunnel, a hose extending from a water supply vehicle, such as a pump truck, is connected to the water inlet, and water is supplied from the water supply vehicle to the inlet. The water inlet is connected to a water tap installed inside the building or tunnel, and firefighting is carried out by discharging the water supplied to the inlet through a hose connected to the water tap. Technologies for installing such water inlets in buildings and tunnels are being considered. For example, Patent Document 1 describes a water inlet for introducing firefighting water supplied from the outside through a water supply pipe to a connected firefighting water supply pipe installed inside a building, comprising: a tubular main body having an opening for inserting the water supply pipe which connects to the connected firefighting water supply pipe; an annular member disposed around the periphery of the opening; an annular retaining member attachable to the main body for holding the annular member between itself and the main body; a lid which is detachable from the opening; and a connecting string which connects the lid and the annular member. The invention discloses a water outlet for a connected water supply pipe equipped with the above. Patent Document 1 states that, according to the above invention, the opening of the main body can be closed by the lid when not in use, thereby preventing foreign matter such as garbage from entering the connected water supply pipe from the outside and preventing blockage of the connected water supply pipe by foreign matter.
