JP-2026075946-A - Clothing and systems for guiding pelvic movement
Abstract
[Problem] To provide a means to guide the user's pelvis to a desired posture by applying force of a desired strength in a desired direction to the left and right hip bones. [Solution] The garment 1 comprises a main body 11 which is leggings worn by user X, a plurality of hook-and-loop fasteners 12 attached to a predetermined area of the main body 11, a band 13 which is an elastic cord with one end attached to a predetermined area of the main body 11, and a hook-and-loop fastener 14 attached to the inner surface of the other end of the band 13. If user X has a tendency for their left hip bone to rotate forward from a desired position, for example, they stretch the band 13 with one end attached to the area behind the sacrum of the main body 11, and connect the hook-and-loop fastener 14 on the back of the band 13 to the desired position of the hook-and-loop fastener 12 attached to the area between the left iliac crest and the left greater trochanter of the main body 11. As a result, user X's left hip bone is guided to rotate backward with a desired amount of tension. [Selection Diagram] Figure 2C

Description
This invention relates to a technique for guiding the movement of a person's pelvis in a desired direction. Pelvic misalignment can lead to poor posture and body shape, lower back pain and other ailments, and decreased performance in movement. Therefore, devices to correct pelvic misalignment have been proposed. For example, Patent Document 1 proposes a pelvic support orthosis comprising an elastic spats covering the waist and thighs, an upper non-elastic belt sewn to the outer back surface of the elastic spats to cover both iliac bones and the sacrum, and a lower elastic belt sewn to the inner back surface of the elastic spats to cover both hip joints and both iliac bones. The pelvic support orthosis described in Patent Document 1 is worn by the user by wrapping the upper non-elastic belt around the waist along both iliac bones and the sacrum, respectively, while the user is wearing elastic leggings, and simultaneously attaching the lower elastic belt to the upper non-elastic belt via an attachment member while pulling the lower elastic belt's free ends in a crisscross pattern from both hip joints along both iliac bones. Patent Document 1 describes that, according to the above-mentioned pelvic support orthosis, four points—both iliac bones and both hip joints—are simultaneously supported, and the tightening power can be easily changed by adjusting the attachment members of the upper non-elastic belt and the lower elastic belt. This correctively supports the pelvis in the correct position, allowing the user to smoothly and effectively perform their motor functions.
