Description
This invention relates to a stabilizer link used in the suspension system of an automobile, and more particularly to an adjustable stabilizer link for vehicles that includes a link length adjustment mechanism and a stabilization structure for the fastening portion. A stabilizer link is a component in a vehicle's suspension system that connects the stabilizer to the vehicle body side member. Adjustments to the link length may be necessary when the vehicle height or suspension configuration is changed. Conventional adjustable stabilizer links had problems such as instability of the seating surface at the fastening point and variations in the fastening condition, which made them prone to loosening and twisting. The problem the invention aims to solve The objective of this invention is to provide an adjustable stabilizer link for vehicles that allows for adjustment of the link length while stabilizing the seating surface of the fastening portion and suppressing variations in the fastening state and loosening. Means for solving the problem The adjustable stabilizer link for vehicles according to this invention comprises a center shaft, rod ends connected to both ends of the center shaft, and fastening parts for fastening the rod ends to a member to be fastened. The fastening portion is configured to clamp the member to be fastened by a seating surface configuration that includes a flange nut and a high-hardness washer. Furthermore, depending on the fastening specifications, the configuration may include interposing a flanged conversion collar on one side of the fastened member and arranging a high-hardness washer and flange nut on the other side to clamp the fastened member. The adjustable stabilizer link for vehicles according to this invention can be implemented with the configuration shown in Figures 1 and 2. As shown in Figure 1, the adjustable stabilizer link for vehicles according to the present invention comprises a center shaft 4 and rod ends 3 connected to both ends thereof. The rod end 3 is connected to the center shaft 4 via the rod end shaft 5 and fastened to the member to be fastened by the fastening portion. The fastening portion clamps the fastened member by a seating surface configuration including a high-hardness washer 2 and a flange nut 1. In the fastening specification shown in Figure 2, a flanged conversion collar 6 is interposed on one side of the member to be fastened, and a high-hardness washer 2 and a flange nut 1 are placed on the other side to clamp the member to be fastened. effect According to this invention, by stabilizing the seating surface of the fastening portion, variations in the fastening state and loosening can be suppressed, and a stable mounting state can be obtained in stabilizer links that involve adjustment of the link length. This invention is applicable not only to lightweight compact cars but to all vehicles equipped with stabilizers, and has high utility in the fields of driving stability measures and tuning.
