JP-3255738-U - A new patient consultation system that shares health information, including vital signs, of patients.
Abstract
[Problem] To provide a new medical consultation system that allows physicians to accurately grasp health information such as vital signs and nutritional information, make accurate diagnoses to patients, and provide further care guidance. [Solution] The new medical consultation system 1 includes a data server 22 that stores health status information D3 regarding the health status of elderly people, including vital signs, obtained in health management guidance classes for the elderly held in vacant stores in shopping districts, a communication unit 24 that communicates with a terminal 40 connected to the data server 22 via a public communication line 30, and a processing unit 21 that performs input and output processing of the health status information. When the processing unit 21 transmits a request for the provision of health status information from the terminal 40 of a medical institution to which the elderly person is receiving treatment to the communication unit 24, it performs the process of providing the health status information stored in the data server 22 to the terminal 40. Claims (2)
- A new medical consultation system comprising: a data server that stores health status information, including vital signs, of elderly people obtained in health management guidance classes for the elderly held in vacant shops in shopping districts; a communication unit that communicates with a terminal connected to the data server via a public communication line; and a processing unit that performs input and output processing of the health status information, wherein the processing unit performs the process of providing the health status information stored in the data server to the terminal when the terminal of the medical institution to which the elderly person is receiving treatment transmits a request for the provision of the health status information to the communication unit.
- The new medical consultation system according to claim 1, wherein the processing unit stores medical information relating to medical procedures performed on the elderly person at the medical institution in the data server when the medical information is transmitted from the terminal via the communication unit.
Description
This invention relates to a new medical consultation system that, in collaboration with the "Healthy Life Expectancy Extension Classroom" in shopping districts, contributes to extending the healthy life expectancy of the elderly by enabling doctors to accurately grasp the patient's vital signs, nutritional information, and other health information during consultations and to provide care guidance. Traditionally, doctors could issue findings requiring immediate hospitalization for patients undergoing checkups, especially those with serious illnesses. However, for patients with minor illnesses or other conditions, information regarding nutritional improvements was communicated verbally. In such cases, there was a significant difference in how patients listened to the doctor's care instructions, with some taking notes to fully understand the doctor's intent and others simply ignoring the instructions. Furthermore, for hospitalized patients, doctors would "instruct on the food inspection log" regarding nutritional therapy instructions, and registered dietitians would then provide care according to those instructions. This is a configuration diagram showing the structure of the new medical consultation system 1.This is an explanatory diagram illustrating the usage patterns of the new medical consultation system 1. The following describes an embodiment of the new medical examination system with reference to the attached drawings. First, we will explain the configuration of the new medical consultation system 1 shown in Figure 1 as one embodiment of the new medical consultation system. The new medical consultation system 1 is a system that achieves both the revitalization of shopping streets and support for the elderly, such as maintaining their health and extending their healthy lifespan. Its main pillars are utilizing vacant stores in shopping streets as elderly support facilities to conduct elderly support activities and utilizing information about the elderly obtained through these elderly support activities. The obstacles to the development of shopping streets are dilapidation, vacant stores, and poor services, and this invention is a system that eliminates these problems. Senior citizen support programs include classes on dementia prevention and early detection, exercise support classes for senior citizens' health and longevity, and community classes on pet interaction and "Gwanping" (a registered trademark, No. 6734758). These classes primarily aim to help students (seniors) achieve short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals for nutritional status and improvement, providing management guidance to help them approach their ideal state of health. This includes advice on vital signs, dietary content, and weight gain/loss management. Furthermore, numerous blood pressure monitors will be provided in the open spaces at the entrance of each of the three classes, allowing local residents to measure their daily vital signs free of charge. As a specific means of realizing this new patient consultation system 1, as shown in Figure 1, it comprises a management device 11 and a terminal 40 connected to the management device 11 (data server 22, which will be described later) via a public communication line 30. The management device 11 manages elderly support programs (such as dementia prevention and early detection classes, elderly health and longevity exercise support classes, and pet interaction and dog-playing (registered trademark No. 6734758) citizen classes) conducted at elderly support facilities (vacant shops in shopping districts). Specifically, as shown in Figure 1, the management device 11 is configured to include a processing unit 21, a data server 22, a display unit 23, and a communication unit 24. The processing unit 21 executes a creation process P1 to create support information D1, which shows the profile, health status (vital signs, etc.), support content (meal content, weight gain/loss management guidance, etc.), and support schedule of the person receiving support (elderly person), in accordance with the instructions (input operations) of the supporter, such as a registered dietitian, who provides support (services) to the person receiving support (elderly person). In this case, when the processing unit 21 receives reservation information D2 transmitted from a terminal device 40 (for example, a smartphone or personal computer) operated by the person receiving support or the supporter via the communication unit 24 during this creation process P1, it creates the support information D1 based on the reservation information D2. Furthermore, the processing unit 21 creates health status information D3 (information on health status including vital signs and nutritional status) regarding the health status of elderly people obtained through elderly support programs (cognitive impairment prevention and early detection classes, elderly health and longevity exercise support classes, pet interaction and dog-walking
