Abstract

[Problem] To be able to monitor alarms from different types of machinery and equipment, and to remotely confirm the specific operating status while minimizing communication volume. [Solution] The machine equipment remote monitoring system 10 includes an AI camera device 20 that is connected to a network 11 and detachably mounted on the machine equipment 60 to monitor the status of alarm units 63 and 64 and transmit monitoring information, a control server 30 that is connected to the network 11 and processes the monitoring information, and a display terminal 40 that is connected to the network 11 and displays the monitoring information processed by the control server 30. The AI camera device 20 monitors the status of alarm units 63 and 64 using at least one of the camera 23 or microphone 24, and periodically transmits still image information included in the monitoring information when normal, and transmits video information (real-time streaming) included in the monitoring information when abnormal. The AI camera device comprises a camera for capturing images, a microphone for collecting sound, and a discrimination unit that learns and distinguishes between the normal and abnormal operating states of the alarm unit. The device monitors the state of the alarm unit using at least one of the camera or the microphone, periodically transmits still image information included in the monitoring information when the system is functioning normally, transmits alarm generation information when the system is functioning abnormally, and transmits video information included in the monitoring information upon receiving a start request from the display terminal . The control server has information on the floor map where the AI camera device is located, and the floor map displays still image display buttons and video display buttons for the AI camera device. A remote monitoring system for machinery and equipment, characterized in that, when the floor map is displayed on the display terminal under normal conditions, the still image information is displayed by selecting the still image display button, and when the video display button is selected and a start request is made, the video information is transmitted from the AI camera device and the video information is displayed .
  2. A remote monitoring system for machinery and equipment according to claim 1 , The remote monitoring system for machinery and equipment is characterized in that, when the control server fails to receive the still image information from the AI camera device after a predetermined period of time has elapsed, it sends error information to the display terminal and displays an error on the display terminal.
  3. A remote monitoring system for machinery and equipment according to claim 1 or claim 2, The remote monitoring system for machinery and equipment is characterized in that the control server stores the still image information and can check the stored still image information upon request from the display terminal.
  4. A remote monitoring system for machinery and equipment according to claim 1 or claim 2 , A remote monitoring system for machinery and equipment, characterized in that, in the event of an abnormality, the display terminal is notified by a flashing display of the floor map and an audible alert.
  5. A remote monitoring system for machinery and equipment according to claim 4 , A remote monitoring system for machinery and equipment, characterized in that the video information is displayed by selecting the abnormal flashing display on the floor map on the display terminal.

Description

This invention relates to a remote monitoring system for machinery and equipment equipped with an alarm unit that indicates the operating status of the machine in both normal and abnormal conditions, either through a display or an audible signal. Traditionally, medical devices have been used as mechanical equipment in healthcare settings. Medical devices such as ventilators, upon detecting a patient abnormality, alert the user to the malfunction through indicator lights, monitors, or audible alarms from speakers. If the status of alarms such as lights, monitors, and speakers can be communicated not only to those near medical equipment, but also to medical staff and patients' families located further away, it becomes possible to provide better medical services to patients. Incidentally, some machinery and equipment, like medical devices, require certification by a registered certification body to confirm compliance with standards. Furthermore, modifying a medical device itself after its initial use may necessitate obtaining re-certification. Some medical devices do not have a pre-installed function to notify a remote user of an alarm. In such cases, a system that can be retrofitted to the medical device, like an attachment, to detect the operation status of the alarm unit and notify a remote user is desirable. As an example of such a retrofit device status monitoring system for remotely monitoring machinery and equipment equipped with alarm units that indicate normal and abnormal operating states, the technology shown in Patent Document 1 is known. The equipment status monitoring system described in Patent Document 1 comprises an equipment status monitoring device including an optical sensor unit positioned near a lamp that indicates the status of the equipment by illumination or flashing, an attachment unit for attaching the optical sensor unit to the equipment, and a transmission unit for transmitting the detection signal from the optical sensor unit; and an equipment status monitoring terminal including a receiving unit for receiving the detection signal from the transmission unit and a notification unit for notifying the monitor that the illumination or flashing state of the lamp has changed based on the detection signal. However, while the equipment status monitoring system in Patent Document 1 detects the illumination or flashing of a lamp indicating the operating status of a medical device, some medical devices use monitor displays or audible alarms to indicate their operating status, rather than lamps. Therefore, the system cannot detect alarms other than those indicated by lamps. Furthermore, while the equipment status monitoring system described in Patent Document 1 has a notification unit that notifies of detected abnormalities, it is not possible to remotely confirm the specific operating status, especially when an alarm is issued via a monitor display.
