Description

This invention relates to a housing device. Conventionally, storage devices are known that have a storage section for inserting and removing contents (see, for example, Patent Document 1). This housing device comprises a housing formed in a substantially polyhedral shape with six substantially square faces facing in different directions from one another, and a housing section formed within the housing. The housing has an opening connected to the housing section or the periphery of an opening connected to the housing section, positioned at a location corresponding to a first edge, which is one of the multiple edges constituting the polyhedron corresponding to the housing. Furthermore, this storage device is provided with a handle that functions as a grip for the user to hold the device. [1. Embodiments] [1.1. Structure] Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In each drawing, the symbol FR indicates the front when the storage device 1 is installed (placed) with its bottom surface in contact with the mounting surface, the symbol UP indicates the area above the storage device 1, and the symbol LH indicates the area to the left of the storage device 1. In the following description, unless otherwise specified, each direction refers to the direction of the storage device 1. Hereinafter, the so-called upright position in which the storage device 1 is installed with its bottom surface in contact with the mounting surface will be referred to as the first position. Figure 1 is a perspective view of a storage device 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The housing device 1 houses a battery 100 that can be attached to and detached from the housing device 1, and functions as a power supply device that converts the power stored in the battery 100 according to the user's operation and supplies power to an electric motor or the like outside the housing device 1 (Figure 7). As shown in Figure 1, the housing device 1 comprises a roughly rectangular parallelepiped housing 10. The housing 10 has a top surface, a bottom surface, a front surface, a rear surface, and a pair of left and right sides, all of which are flat surfaces. In the first orientation of the housing device 1, the bottom surface of the housing 10 becomes the bottom surface that contacts the installation surface. Furthermore, the housing 10 is not limited to a rectangular parallelepiped shape; it may have any shape as long as it is a roughly polyhedron, such as a roughly cubic shape, or has six roughly square faces facing in different directions. Figure 2 is an exploded perspective view of the housing 10. In Figure 2, components housed inside the housing 10, such as the housing mechanism 30 and the inverter unit 80, are omitted. As shown in Figure 2, the housing 10 comprises, in the first orientation of the housing device 1, an upper panel 12 forming the top surface, a lower panel 14 forming the bottom surface, a front panel 16 forming the front surface, a rear panel 18 forming the rear surface, and a pair of side panels 19 forming the left and right sides, respectively. In this embodiment, each panel is formed of a resin material, but it is not limited to this, and at least one or a part of any of the panels may be formed of another material such as a metal material. The top panel 12 is a component formed by bending each edge of a substantially rectangular plate-shaped material downward along the vertical direction of the housing device 1, thereby having a predetermined thickness. The top panel 12 is provided with a top recess 11 that is recessed in a rectangular shape in plan view from the top side to the bottom side, approximately in the center of the top recess 11. A top opening 13, which is a through hole in a substantially rectangular shape in plan view, is provid
