Description
The present invention relates to a cleaning and disinfection device for cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes and the like, and a chemical solution bottle unit applied to the cleaning and disinfection device. Traditionally, medical endoscopes have been widely used for internal examinations and treatments. After use, endoscopes need to be cleaned and disinfected for future use. Therefore, cleaning and disinfection devices (endoscope reprocessors) for cleaning and disinfecting endoscopes after use have been put into practical use. Generally, disinfectants and other chemical solutions used in cleaning and disinfection equipment are supplied to the market in a sealed state within a chemical solution bottle unit. A widely adopted chemical solution bottle unit configuration is one in which two chemical solution bottles, each containing a different chemical, are integrated into a single unit. Various configurations for supplying the chemical solution in such a chemical solution bottle unit to a cleaning and disinfection device have been proposed, for example, in Japanese Patent Publication No. 4823537 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 5106557. The cleaning and disinfecting apparatus disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 4823537, Japanese Patent No. 5106557, etc., has a configuration that allows the lid (stopper) of the chemical solution bottle unit to be opened and the chemical solution inside the chemical solution bottle unit to be injected into the cleaning and disinfecting apparatus simply by closing the tray on which the chemical solution bottle unit is installed. In this case, the user first places the liquid medicine bottle unit, filled with the liquid medicine, into a predetermined position on a tray pulled out from the front panel of the cleaning and disinfecting device. Next, the user pushes the tray back into the device to close it. Inside the device, there is a mechanism for breaking open the lid of the liquid medicine bottle unit, such as a blade with a pointed tip. This blade is positioned opposite the lid of the liquid medicine bottle unit placed on the tray, and as the tray moves in the closing direction together with the liquid medicine bottle unit, the lid of the liquid medicine bottle unit comes into contact with the blade. This causes the blade to break the lid and open the chemical solution bottle unit. Once the chemical solution bottle is opened, the chemical solutions within the bottle unit are injected into predetermined pathways within the cleaning and disinfection device. Incidentally, the amount of liquid medicine stored in each liquid medicine bottle of a liquid medicine bottle unit may differ from one another. In such cases, each liquid medicine bottle is formed with a different shape. For example, each liquid medicine bottle is formed with a different length in the direction of insertion into the tray. In this case, the lids of each liquid medicine bottle are positioned at different locations relative to each other in the direction of insertion into the tray. Consequently, the blades for opening each liquid medicine bottle are also positioned at different locations relative to each other in the direction of insertion into the tray. Therefore, if two liquid medicine bottles are placed in the tray in reverse, there is a risk that both bottles may not be opened correctly, such as one bottle opening while the other remains closed. The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and aims to provide a washing and disinfection device and a liquid medicine bottle unit that can properly open two liquid medicine bottles.
