Claims (4)
- A cushion cover comprising a cover body that covers the internal components, and a slide fastener that allows a part of the cover body to be opened and closed, The aforementioned slide fastener, Two fastener tapes are sewn along each opening and closing edge of the cover body, and each fastener tape has an element along the edges facing each other. Each of the aforementioned elements is fitted with a slider that moves to interlock or separate them by sliding, The cover body has an end covering portion that extends seamlessly from one of the opening/closing edges and is sewn to the other of the opening/closing edges so as to cover the slider from the outside when it has slid to an end position that completely closes each of the elements, and the opening edge of the end covering portion facing the opening through which the slider enters and exits is formed by a folded portion that is folded back inward and sewn to the other in an overlapping manner .
- A cushion cover according to claim 1, A cushion cover in which each of the opening and closing edges of the cover body is composed of separate cover pieces that are sewn together with each other.
- A cushion cover according to claim 1 or claim 2, A cushion cover in which the extension width, which is the width of the end covering portion extending from one side toward the other, is wider than the total width of the slider, which is the width of the slider in the extension direction.
- A cushion cover according to claim 1 or claim 2, A cushion cover whose length in the sliding direction covers the closing end portion of the slide fastener of the end covering portion is longer than the total length of the slider, which is the length of the slider in the sliding direction, and which covers the entire slider at the end position from the outside.
Description
This invention relates to a cushion cover. More specifically, it relates to a cushion cover comprising a cover body that covers the internal contents, and a slide fastener that allows a portion of the cover body to be opened and closed. Patent Document 1 discloses a vehicle seat configuration in which the seat cover can be opened and closed using a sliding fastener. The sliding fastener consists of two fastener tapes, each having an element, sewn together along each edge of the seat cover that is opened and closed. Between each element, a slider is attached that slides across them to interlock or separate them. Patent No. 6111982 This is a perspective view showing the schematic configuration of a cushion cover according to the first embodiment. This is an enlarged view of part II of Figure 1.This is a schematic diagram showing the position of the stitching lines on the cover body. The embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 《First Embodiment》 (Outline of cushion cover 2) First, the configuration of the cushion cover 2 according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 3. In the following description, if a specific reference figure is not shown, or if there is no reference numeral corresponding to a reference figure, one of Figures 1 to 3 will be referred to as appropriate. As shown in Figure 1, the cushion cover 2 according to this embodiment is configured as a cover for a cushion 1, which is a piece of furniture used on a sofa. The cushion 1 is constructed by filling a rectangular, fabric-covered cushion cover 2 with a soft material 3, such as wool or feathers. The cushion cover 2 comprises a cover body 21 sewn into a bag shape, and a slide fastener 22 that allows one edge of the cover body 21 to be opened and closed. The cover body 21 is sewn into a single rectangular bag shape by sewing together the corresponding edges of two cover pieces 21A and 21B, each cut to match the shape of the front and back surfaces of the bag. As shown in Figure 2, the slide fastener 22 has two long, strip-shaped fastener tapes 22A sewn along the opening and closing edges A1 and B1 of the cover body 21, and elements 22B (teeth) formed along the opposing edges of each fastener tape 22A. Furthermore, the slide fastener 22 has a slider 22C that is assembled across each element 22B. The slider 22C is fitted with a small, plate-shaped knob C1 that can be moved by the user by pinching it with their hand. The slider 22C is configured in a known manner, allowing the user to move the slider 22C by pinching the knob C1 and sliding it along each element 22B, thereby interlocking or separating the elements 22B from one another. Specifically, the slider 22C is moved to slide in one direction along each element 22B, sequentially engaging each element 22B as it passes, thereby closing the space between each fastener tape 22A. Conversely, the slider 22C is moved to slide in the other direction along each element 22B, sequentially separating the engaged elements 22B as it passes, thereby opening the space between each fastener tape 22A. The knob C1 is connected to the slider 22C in such a way that it can be tilted to one side or the other in the sliding direction, or raised from a tilted position. Therefore, when the user operates the slider 22C, they can easily move the slider 22C in the desired sliding direction by pinching and raising the knob C1. Furthermore, after the user has operated the slider 22C, the knob C1 can be folded to either side, creating a compact state where the knob C1 is aligned with each fastener tape 22A. After the internal contents 3 are packed into the cover body 21 of the cushion cover 2, the slider 22C is moved to its end position, completely closing each element 22B, thereby enclosing the internal contents 3 inside. The slider 22C is locked in place by contact with the ends of each element 22B when moved to its end position. The cover body 21 has an end covering portion A2 that can cover the end portion of the slide fastener 22 from the outside. The end covering portion A2 has an opening T between it and the slide fastener 22, allowing the slider 22C to be inserted to the closed end position. The end covering portion A2 is configured to cover the slider 22C, once moved to the closed end position, from the outside. The end covering portion A2 is formed by an extension that seamlessly extends from one cover piece 21A across the space between each fastener tape 22A toward the other cover piece 21B. The end covering portion A2 is sewn to the opening/closing edge B1 of the other cover piece 21B at its extended end. The opening/closing edges A1 and B1 refer to the edge regions where the slide fasteners 22 and their sliding direction are aligned on each cover piece 21A and 21B, i.e., the edge regions that are opened and closed by the slide fasteners 22. As a result of the above suturing, the end cover
