Description
This disclosure relates to a drive system. Conventionally, drive systems are known that comprise an engine and a mechatronic unit in which peripheral components such as a motor and inverter are integrated (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Japanese Patent Publication No. 2021-046003 Figure 1 is a partially enlarged view of the drive device according to an embodiment.Figure 2 is a view taken along arrow A in Figure 1.Figure 3 is a view taken along arrow B in Figure 2. The drive device according to the embodiments of this disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that some components in the following embodiments are substituted or substantially identical to those easily substituted by those skilled in the art. [Drive System Configuration] First, the configuration of the drive unit will be described. Figure 1 is a partially enlarged view of the drive unit according to this embodiment. The drive unit 100 shown in Figure 1 comprises an electric unit 1 and an internal combustion engine 2. The electric unit 1 is a mechatronic unit in which an electric motor and an inverter are integrated. The electric unit 1 is attached to the internal combustion engine 2. The electric unit 1 includes a fastening portion 11, a side wall surface 12, a connector 13, a wall portion 14, and a PCU (Power Control Unit) 15. The fastening portion 11 is formed on a flange portion extending outward from the side wall surface 12 and is fastened to the internal combustion engine 2 by bolts. The side wall surface 12 and the connector 13 protrude from the side wall surface 12. Connector 13 is a connector to which wiring supplying power to the inverter is connected. Connector 13 is made of, for example, resin and is sealed. The PCU 15 includes an inverter that converts power from the battery into AC power and controls the operation of the drive unit 100. Internal combustion engine 2 is an engine that generates power by burning fuel such as gasoline. [Wall structure] Next, the detailed configuration of the wall portion 14 will be described. Figure 2 is a view taken along arrow A in Figure 1. As shown in Figure 2, the connector 13 and the wall portion 14 are located on a straight line along the axial direction of the bolt that fastens the fastening portion 11 to the internal combustion engine 2. As a result, the connector 13 and the wall portion 14 are positioned in a region close to the outer diameter of the extension tool T (dashed line in Figure 2) used when fastening the bolt. Figure 3 is a view taken along arrow B in Figure 2. As shown in Figure 3, the height H2 of the wall portion 14 from the side wall surface 12 is higher than the height H1 of the connector 13 from the side wall surface 12. According to the drive device 100 described above, the connector 13 and the wall portion 14 are arranged in a region close to the outer diameter of the extension tool T, and the height of the wall portion 14 from the side wall surface 12 is higher than that of the connector 13. Therefore, the bolt can be fastened with the extension tool T while the extension tool T is in contact with the wall portion 14. As a result, it is possible to prevent the extension tool T from coming into contact with the connector 13 when fastening the bolt with the extension tool T. Further effects and modifications can be readily derived by those skilled in the art. Therefore, broader aspects of the present invention are not limited to the specific details and representative embodiments expressed and described above. Accordingly, various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit or scope of the overall concept of the invention as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
