Description
This invention relates to a static elimination device for removing static electricity from a sheet and an image forming system equipped therewith. When an image is formed on a sheet using an image forming apparatus, the sheet may become electrically charged. If these charged sheets, formed during image formation, are stacked in a post-processing device or stacker, the electrostatic force between the discharged sheets can cause them to stick together. Therefore, Patent Document 1 describes an anti-static device that uses an anti-static roller that contacts the paper to remove static electricity and a non-contact type anti-static device that removes static electricity without contacting the sheet. Japanese Patent Publication No. 2019-167169 A schematic cross-sectional view of an image forming system.A schematic diagram showing connecting members that link devices together. An enlarged view showing a close-up of the sheet transfer area.A schematic diagram showing the image forming section.Schematic diagram of the cooling unit.A schematic diagram of the static elimination unit.Perspective view of an image forming system.Enlarged view of the top of the static elimination device.A schematic diagram of a static eliminator viewed from the left side.A block diagram showing the communication of an image forming system.A graph showing the static electricity removal characteristics of the sheet.A graph showing the variation in the static elimination characteristics of the sheet.A flowchart explaining the process for adjusting the static elimination setting.A perspective view showing the configuration during sheet charge measurement in Embodiment 1.An enlarged upper view showing the connector portion of the configuration used for measuring the sheet charge amount in Embodiment 1.A perspective view showing a modified example 1 of Embodiment 1.A perspective view showing a modified example 2 of Embodiment 1.A perspective view showing the configuration of Embodiment 2.A perspective view showing a modified example of Embodiment 2.A perspective view showing the configuration of Embodiment 3. [Example 1] The embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. The dimensions, materials, shapes, and relative arrangements of the components described below are not intended to limit the scope of this invention to those unless otherwise specifically stated. The following description will refer to embodiments of the present invention with reference to the drawings. The XYZ coordinate system shown in the drawings is provided to explain the installation direction of the image forming system. More specifically, the X-axis represents the left-right direction (width direction) of the image forming system, and the direction indicated by the arrow on the X-axis of the XYZ coordinate system is the right direction of the installed image forming system, while the opposite direction is the left direction of the installed image forming system. In the following description, "right" in the drawings means the direction indicated by the arrow on the X-axis, and "left" in the drawings means the opposite direction is the opposite direction of the arrow on the X-axis. The Y-axis represents the front-back direction (depth direction) of the image forming system, and the direction indicated by the arrow on the Y-axis of the XYZ coordinate system is the back direction of the installed image forming system, while the opposite direction is the front direction of the installed image forming system. In the following description, "rear" in the drawings means the direction indicated by the arrow on the Y-axis, and "front" in the drawings means the opposite direction is the opposite direction of the arrow on the Y-axis. Furthermore, the Z-axis indicates the height direction of the image forming system. The direction indicated by the Z-axis arrow in the XYZ coordinate system is the upward direction of the installed image forming system, and the opposite direction is the downward direction of the installed image forming system. In the following explanation, "up" in the figure means the direction indicated by the Z-axis arrow, and "down" in the figure means the opposite direction of the Z-axis arrow. In the figure, the circle symbol indicates the tip of the arrow for each of the X, Y, and Z axes, and the cross symbol inside the circle symbol indicates the trailing end of the arrow for each of the X, Y, and Z axes. <Configuration of the image forming system> The schematic configuration of the image forming system in this embodiment will be explained using Figures 1, 2, and 3. Figure 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the image forming system in this embodiment. Figure 2 is a schematic diagram showing the connecting members that connect each device. Figure 3 is an enlarged view showing the sheet S transfer section. The image forming system 1000 comprises an image forming apparatus 100 for forming an image on
