Description
This disclosure relates to a current transformer mounting device, and more particularly to a current transformer mounting device for mounting a current transformer on a portion of an electric wire. A conventionally known device for measuring current is a current transformer, which is donut-shaped and has a hole in the center through which a cable (i.e., an electric wire) passes (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 11-121259 Figure 1A is a partially cutaway front view showing the mounting state of the current transformer mounting device according to Embodiment 1 of the present disclosure, and Figure 1B is a front view showing the mounting state of the current transformer mounting device as described above.Figure 2A is an exploded perspective view showing the first component of the current transformer mounting device, and Figure 2B is a front cross-sectional view showing the assembled state of the first component.Figures 3A and 3B are partially broken front views sequentially showing how a current transformer is attached to a portion of an electric wire using the same current transformer mounting device.Figure 4A is an exploded perspective view showing a modified example of the current transformer mounting device, and Figure 4B is a front cross-sectional view of the assembled version of the current transformer mounting device.Figure 5 is a front view showing a current transformer mounting device according to Embodiment 2 of the present disclosure.Figure 6A is a perspective view showing the current transformer mounting device as described above, and Figure 6B is a front view showing the current transformer mounting device as described above before mounting. (Embodiment 1) 1. Overview The current transformer mounting device 1 (hereinafter referred to as "mounting device 1") of Embodiment 1 shown in Figures 1A and 1B is a current transformer mounting device for mounting a current transformer 3, which has a hole 30 through which a wire 2 passes and measures the current flowing through the wire 2, to a part of the wire 2. The current transformer mounting device 1 comprises a first component 4 that is attached to a part of the wire 2, and a second component 5 that is combined with the first component 4 and holds the current transformer 3 between itself and the first component 4. The first component 4 has an insertion portion 40 that extends along the wire 2 and passes through the hole 30 of the current transformer 3, and a projection portion 41 that protrudes from the insertion portion 40 on the outside of the hole 30 toward the opposite side from the wire 2. The second component 5 has an annular portion 53 through which the wire 2 and the insertion portion 40 pass. The annular portion 53 is configured to press and fix the insertion portion 40 against the wire 2. In the mounting device 1 of Embodiment 1, which has the above configuration, the annular portion 53 of the second component 5 can press the insertion portion 40 of the first component 4 against the electric wire 2 for fixation, thereby fixing the first component 4 and the second component 5 to the electric wire 2. Therefore, in the mounting device 1 of Embodiment 1, the removal of the current transformer 3 held by the first component 4 and the second component 5 can be suppressed. 2. Details Next, the mounting device 1 of Embodiment 1 will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. The mounting device 1 is a component for attaching a current transformer 3 to a part of the electric wire 2. 2-1. Electric Wires Electric wire 2 is, for example, an electric wire connected to a circuit breaker (circuit breaker) installed in a distribution board. Electric wire 2 is an insulated electric wire in which a conductor such as a single wire or stranded wire is covered with an insulator such as polyvinyl chloride, fluororesin, cross-linked polyethylene, natural rubber, or synthetic rubber. Electric wire 2 extends downward from the circuit breaker, for example, parallel to the vertical direction. 2-2. Current Transformer The current transformer 3 is an annular device having a hole 30 through which a portion of the electric wire 2 passes. In this embodiment, the current transformer 3 is annular in plan view and has a hole 30 in the center that penetrates the current transformer 3 vertically. The current transformer 3 can measure the current flowing through the electric wire 2 passed through the hole 30. A conventionally known current transformer can be used as the current transformer 3. 2-3. Mounting Device The mounting device 1 has a first component 4 that is attached to a part of the electric wire 2, and a second component 5 that is combined with the first component 4 and holds the current transformer 3 between itself and the first component 4. In the following, the direction of the mounting device 1 will be defined based on the state in which it is attached to the electric wire 2 that extends in the vertical
