Abstract

[Problem] To provide a protective net to prevent crows from scattering garbage discarded at a garbage dump. [Solution] A double-layered net is provided, consisting of a short net 1 and a long net 2 that are overlapped and connected at the upper end. The upper end of the double-layered net is installed at a high position in the garbage dump, with the long net 2 facing the garbage side and the short net 1 facing the side where crows enter the garbage dump, and the lower end of the long net 2 is extended further towards the side where crows 8 enter than the short net 1. Even if a crow 8 approaches the garbage 7 to make contact and lifts the short net 1, it cannot make contact with the garbage 7 because of the long net 2. Furthermore, since the crow 8 itself is stepping on the long net 2, it becomes difficult for it to lift the long net 2, thus preventing the crow 8 from making contact with the garbage 7. Claims (2)

  1. This net is designed primarily to prevent crows from rummaging through and scattering food waste. It consists of two nets of different lengths and colors, with their top ends tied together , creating a double-layered structure with varying lengths from bottom to top. The top end of the net is fixed high up in the garbage area so that the shorter net is just above the ground. The longer net faces the garbage side, and the shorter net faces the side where crows are likely to enter. Furthermore, the bottom end of the longer net is positioned to extend further towards the crow-intrusion side than the shorter net. This design makes it difficult for crows to lift the shorter net, as they can land on top of the longer net, thus preventing them from doing so.
  2. A portable garbage disposal area comprising connecting the top of the garbage scattering damage prevention net of claim 1 to the top of the entrance of a pop-up tent, wherein the top of the net is fixed to the top of the entrance of the pop-up tent so that the long net faces the pop-up tent side and the short net faces the side where crows enter, and the lower end of the long net is set to extend further out than the short net towards the side where crows enter, so that when crows roll up the short net they can climb onto the long net, making it difficult for them to roll up the long net, thereby preventing crows from entering the pop-up tent and preventing crows from rummaging through the garbage inside the tent.

Description

This invention relates to a net that prevents crows from rummaging through and scattering food waste discarded in garbage dumps. Conventional nets designed to prevent crows from scattering food waste include nets that collect the waste (see Patent Document 1). Japanese Patent Publication No. 2023-113099 (P2023-113099A) Schematic diagram of the network according to the present inventionFront view (partially perspective view) when attached to a pop-up tent.Cross-sectional view when attached to a pop-up tent. Figures 2 and 3 show an embodiment of the net according to the present invention. The net is attached to the top of the entrance 6 of a pop-up tent 4, with the upper end 3 of the present invention serving as a garbage disposal area. When a person takes out garbage 7, they can easily place the garbage inside the tent 4 by lifting the long net 2 at the lower end. When a crow 8 approaches the garbage 7, it encounters the short net 1, and when it lifts it up, the long net 2 is in front of it, preventing it from reaching the garbage 7. Also, because the crow 8 is stepping on the long net 2 at that time, it is difficult for the crow 8 to continue lifting the long net 2, thus preventing the crow 8 from coming into contact with the garbage 7.
