This disclosure relates to terminals, wireless communication methods , base stations , and systems in next-generation mobile communication systems. Therefore, one of the objectives of this disclosure is to provide a terminal, wireless communication method , base station , and system that efficiently utilize CSI-RS resources. A terminal according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a receiving unit that receives settings for an extended codebook based on a specific type of codebook for channel status information (CSI)-reference signals (RS) using more than 32 ports, and a control unit that controls the reporting of a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) based on the extended codebook based on the settings, wherein the control unit applies the extended codebook based on the number of CSI-RS ports .
