This disclosure relates to terminals, wireless communication methods , base stations , and systems in next-generation mobile communication systems. Therefore, one of the objectives of this disclosure is to provide a terminal, wireless communication method , base station , and system for appropriately controlling the transmission or reception of PTRS. A terminal according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a receiving unit that receives a setting for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) including a demodulated reference signal (DMRS) type with frequency domain orthogonal cover codes longer than 2 , and a control unit that determines the power ratio of a phase-following reference signal (PTRS) to the PDSCH based on the setting.
