Abstract

The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising composite silica coated with a plant-derived extract, and more specifically, to a color cosmetic composition comprising composite silica coated with a plant-derived extract, a fatty acid composite powder, and a lecithin composite powder. The cosmetic composition according to the present invention can minimize powder scattering, exhibits excellent adhesion and color development, and can sufficiently realize the efficacy of the plant-derived extract, such as antioxidant and anti-aging effects.

Cosmetic composition comprising composite silica coated with plant-derived extract The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising composite silica coated with a plant-derived extract, and more specifically, to a color cosmetic composition comprising composite silica coated with a plant-derived extract, a fatty acid composite powder, and a lecithin composite powder. Plant-derived extracts contain a large amount of active ingredients exhibiting functionalities such as antioxidant and anti-aging properties, and are often used in cosmetic compositions such as skin toners, lotions, and creams; however, their use has been limited in anhydrous powder formulations because it is difficult to include them in large quantities. In particular, when using plant extracts in powder form, it is difficult to include them in large quantities due to their distinctive odor and color, and there is a high possibility of discoloration or odor change. When using plant extracts in liquid form, there is a problem of reduced color development due to decreased dispersibility, which lowers the stability of the powder formulation. Accordingly, the inventors confirmed that by using a complex silica in which a plant-derived extract is coated onto silica, a fatty acid complex powder, and a lecithin complex powder, it is possible to manufacture a color cosmetic composition that exhibits excellent color development and adhesion, demonstrates the efficacy of the plant-derived extract, and is free from problems of discoloration and odor change, and thus completed the present invention.
