Abstract

The present invention is configured to allow the assist handle to be detached and to install an inflation tube inside it so that it can be inflated from the detached assist handle. This allows the driver or passenger to always use the assist handle, which they are familiar with as an easy and convenient emergency tube, thereby reducing casualties. In particular, the present invention uses an airbag inflator, which supplies gas to airbags installed in automobiles for the safety of drivers and passengers, as the inflator that supplies gas to the inflation tube. By configuring the inflator to operate manually using a string, the inflation tube can be easily inflated by pulling the string from the assist handle detached from the vehicle body, allowing for safe use. Additionally, the assist handle can be quickly detached with a simple operation of pressing a button using a ball-lock pin mechanism.

The second support part (110) is equipped with a guide block (120) having at least two locking grooves (121) formed on its inner surface, and the surface of the handle body (100) facing the second support part (110) is equipped with a locking pin (130) that is inserted into the guide block (120) to engage and disengage. An assist handle for an automobile that can be used as an emergency tube, wherein an inflator (140) is disposed inside the handle body (100), and the end of the handle body (100) facing the second support part (110) is open, and the expansion tube (141) is disposed between the inflator (140) and the open end of the handle body (100) and extends to the outside of the handle body (100) through the open end of the handle body (100).
  2. In Paragraph 1, The above inflator (140) is, An assist handle for an automobile that can be used as an emergency tube, characterized by being configured to supply gas to the expansion tube (141) by manually pulling a string (142).
  3. In paragraph 1 or 2, The above rockfish pin (130) is, A main body (131) configured such that a portion of the ball (131') protrudes inwardly so as to be caught in the catch groove (121); A sliding member (132) having a storage groove (132') formed therein that slides within the main body (131) and is stored so that the ball (131') does not protrude out of the main body (131) when sliding occurs; and An assist handle for an automobile that can be used as an emergency tube, characterized by including a spring (133) that elastically supports one side of the sliding member (132) so that it protrudes out of the main body (131), and when the elastically supported sliding member (132) is pressed, the ball (131') is stored in the storage groove (132').

Description

Automotive assist handle used as an emergency tube The present invention relates to an assist handle for automobiles that can be used as an emergency tube. More specifically, the invention is configured such that an inflatable tube is installed on the assist handle, and when the vehicle falls into water, the assist handle is detached from the vehicle body and the tube is inflated to be used as an emergency tube. This configuration allows the driver and passengers to increase their survival rate in the event of an accident by utilizing the assist handle, which they are accustomed to using easily and conveniently in their surroundings. Generally, automobiles can fall into rivers, seas, or suddenly rising water due to rapidly changing surrounding weather, weather changes unexpected by the driver, or automobile accidents, thereby threatening the lives of the driver and passengers. Accordingly, to prepare for such flooding, automobiles have disclosed technologies to assist in the escape of the driver and passengers, as described in (Patent Document 1) to (Patent Document 3) below. (Patent Document 1) Korean Registered Patent No. 10-0387829 The invention relates to an emergency escape assistance device for a flooded vehicle, comprising an air bag installed at the bottom of the vehicle, an air compressor that supplies high-pressure air to the air bag to deploy it, an auxiliary power storage device that receives and charges power from the vehicle's battery, a flood sensor that detects whether the vehicle is flooded, a controller that outputs a control signal to deploy the air bag when the flood sensor detects that the vehicle is flooded, and a power supply controller that supplies power from the auxiliary power storage device to the air compressor to drive the air compressor according to the control signal. When the vehicle falls into a river or the sea, the device generates buoyancy in the air bag installed at the bottom of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to float on the water surface sufficiently for the driver and passengers inside to open the doors and escape, thereby reducing casualties. (Patent Document 2) Korean Published Patent No. 10-2022-0114667 The present invention relates to a vehicle escape assist device in the event of vehicle submersion, comprising: a compressed gas capsule device; a pressure transmission pipe connected to the compressed gas capsule device for delivering compressed gas; a buoyancy generating unit connected to the pipe and receiving pressure from the compressed gas generated from the compressed gas capsule device; a buoyancy impact pin installed in the internal space of the buoyancy generating unit for generating an impact when the compressed gas generated from the compressed gas capsule device is supplied; an air capsule opening/closing port that receives the impact and strike of the buoyancy impact pin and strikes a point on one side of the buoyancy generating unit to discharge destructive force to the outside by the force of the compressed gas generated from the compressed gas capsule device; and a fixing jig unit for storing and fixing the compressed gas capsule device and the buoyancy generating unit. (Patent Document 3) Korean Registered Patent No. 10-0249479 This relates to a safety system in which the doors of a vehicle automatically open when the vehicle is involved in a collision or falls off a cliff, into a river, or into the sea. The configuration comprises an emergency door opening system unit within the central control unit, which installs impact and water detection sensors on the vehicle body to immediately send detection signals to the door latch for emergency opening; a selective door opening system unit within the central control unit, which selectively controls the door on the side of the unfastened passenger to prevent it from opening when either the driver or passenger is unfastened, and selectively opens only when the passenger is fastened or must be fastened; even if the door is not opened by the selective emergency door opening unit, the unfastened door operates normally via the safety system circuit to allow manual operation of the interior and exterior door handles; the emergency door opening system unit is configured such that the impact detection sensor activates only when driving at 20 km/h or more, and also activates only when water is detected or in the event of a collision while driving; and a security system unit that prevents theft and intrusion caused by the door opening due to impact when the vehicle is stopped or the engine is off; and the emergency door opening system unit each In addition to the selective door control function, an emergency switch is installed that allows the driver to forcibly open all doors. Furthermore, impact and water detection sensors are installed in collision-risk areas to detect collisions or falling into water, immediately opening the doors automatically in an emergency to facilitate the escape and rescue of the drive
