KR-102961708-B1 - POLYESTER-BASED INTERIOR MATERIALS FOR VEHICLES
Abstract
The present invention provides an automotive interior material using a single polyester material, which is composed of multiple layers using a polyester-based material having sound absorption and sound insulation performance, and also uses a polyester-based material as an adhesive material between the layers, thereby not only achieving sound absorption performance equal to or similar to existing interior materials but also enabling easy recycling as a single material. In particular, the present invention provides an automotive interior material using a single polyester material, which allows for adjustment to the sound absorption performance required at the installation location by configuring the weight of each layer differently. Furthermore, the present invention provides an automotive interior material using a single polyester material, which enables improvement of noise performance by selectively supplementing sound insulation performance along with sound absorption performance by adding at least one of a layer with sound absorption performance and a layer with sound insulation performance when laminating the layers.

Description
Polyester-based automotive interior materials The present invention relates to an automotive interior material using a single polyester material. More specifically, a PET felt layer is formed as a sound-absorbing material among polyester series, a TPEE layer is formed as a sound-insulating material, and these materials are bonded using a PET coating layer with excellent adhesive properties. By manufacturing a composite material using a single polyester material and varying the weight and structure of each layer, it is possible to obtain interior material performance that is the same or similar to existing materials. In particular, since the single polyester material can be easily recycled, it is possible to easily respond to strengthening environmental regulations. Generally, interior materials for automobiles, such as floor carpets, panels and pads, and headlinings, cover the interior of the vehicle to improve the aesthetics and aesthetics of the interior space, as well as to protect it, and enable passengers to ride comfortably and safely. These interior materials are manufactured with various layered structures to achieve noise performance, as shown in (Patent Document 1) to (Patent Document 3) below. (Patent Document 1) Korean Registered Patent No. 10-2106789 When manufacturing sound insulation sheets for automotive interiors, an antimicrobial agent is mixed and molded, thereby providing antimicrobial and antifungal functions against bacteria or mold that may occur in the automotive interior itself or inside the vehicle. In particular, since the antimicrobial agent with such antimicrobial and antifungal efficacy is mixed with resin, inorganic materials, and white oil and then extruded, it can be produced in the form of a sheet and molded into a shape suitable for various types of automotive interiors. Furthermore, by manufacturing automotive interiors by configuring PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) and sound-absorbing material on each side of the sound insulation sheet with such antimicrobial and antifungal functions, sound absorption and insulation performance can be obtained along with antimicrobial and antifungal functions. (Patent Document 2) Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1747763 The present invention relates to a protective film applied to urethane foaming for automotive interior materials and a method for manufacturing automotive interior materials using the same. Specifically, it relates to a protective film applied during the urethane foaming process for automotive interior materials and a method for manufacturing automotive interior materials using the same, in order to solve the problem where the felt nonwoven fabric or polymer sheet, which is the material of the dashboard or carpet used to impart sound insulation and sound absorption functions to the dashboard or carpet, fails to withstand the heat and pressure applied for injection foaming and causes leakage of the urethane foam. (Patent Document 3) Korean Published Patent No. 10-2017-0006346 In accordance with the trend of reflecting environmental protection characteristics as one of the essential requirements, such as reducing exhaust gas through improved engine fuel efficiency by lightweighting the material, in addition to functional characteristics such as sound absorption, sound insulation, heat resistance, flame retardancy, antibacterial properties, and reduction of formaldehyde (HCHO) and VOCs associated with new car syndrome, noise and vibration absorption, and shape retention, the material for manufacturing automotive interior materials, such as headliners, floor mats, door trims, bonnet hoods, and trunks, can also increase the recyclability of waste materials upon scrapping and enhance environmental protection, the present invention relates to an eco-friendly automotive interior material and a method for manufacturing the same using the multi-purpose functional sanitary cotton of Korean Registration No. 10-1517875. [Fig. 1] is a perspective view of a vehicle showing the location where a vehicle interior material made of a single polyester material according to [Example 1] of the present invention is applied in the vehicle. [Fig. 2] is a cross-sectional view showing the layer structure of an automotive interior material using a single polyester material according to [Example 1] of the present invention.
