Description

Method of providing currency exchange service linked to transportation card recharging The present invention relates to a method for providing a transportation card top-up and exchange service, and more specifically, to a technology for providing a transportation card top-up and exchange service linked by receiving input from a user regarding travel itineraries, tourist attraction information, etc., calculating a recommended exchange amount, and linking foreign currency exchange with transportation card top-up according to the user's selection. With the global influx of foreign tourists increasing, the demand for services linking foreign currency exchange with local transportation is steadily expanding across various countries. In particular, tourists visiting Korea are increasingly extending their travel destinations beyond the capital area to provincial cities and tourist spots; consequently, there is a growing need to establish infrastructure that enables more convenient access to foreign currency exchange services. However, existing currency exchange services are mostly concentrated at airports, downtown offices, or bank branches, posing a limitation that makes it difficult for users to freely exchange currency at various locations while traveling. Additionally, since currency exchange and transportation card top-ups are generally processed as separate procedures, foreign tourists often experience a complex and inconvenient process. While transportation cards are an essential means of using public transportation in Korea, existing currency exchange offices either do not offer top-up functions or require additional travel or procedures for recharging. Consequently, there is a demand for a service that integrates currency exchange and transportation card top-ups; in particular, there is a growing need for a system capable of automatically calculating the required exchange amount based on a travel itinerary and processing both transportation card top-ups and currency exchange simultaneously.
