Abstract
The present invention provides an installation device for an insulating plug of a ground switch elbow connector that can rotate the insulating plug of the elbow connector around a horizontal axis of rotation so as not torsional stress is applied. The installation device includes i) a torque wrench unit comprising a wrench portion that rotates an insulating plug protruding horizontally from the elbow connector of the ground switch, and ii) a guide unit that connects the elbow connector and the torque wrench unit. The guide unit connects the elbow connector and the torque wrench unit such that the axis of rotation on which the insulating plug and the wrench portion are rotated is positioned in a horizontal direction.

Description
INSTALLATION APPARATUS OF GROUND TRANSFORMER ELBOW CONNECTOR The present invention relates to an insulating plug installation device for a ground switch elbow connector. More specifically, the present invention relates to an insulating plug installation device for a ground switch elbow connector capable of separating or connecting the insulating plug of the ground switch elbow connector. In the event of faulty installation or equipment failure of the elbow connector of a ground switch, use a torque wrench to detach or attach the insulation plug of the elbow connector. When detaching an insulation plug that protrudes from the outside of the elbow connector, the plug must be rotated using a torque wrench so that it rotates only around a horizontal axis. However, when an operator separates or tightens the insulation plug of an elbow connector using a standard torque wrench, not only is rotational force applied to the insulation plug around a horizontal axis, but torsional stress is also applied in the up, down, left, and right directions. If torsional stress is applied to the insulation plug in these directions, damage such as cracks may occur in the insulation plug or the bushing of the ground switch. The torsional stress applied to the insulation plug in these directions can increase or decrease depending on the operator's skill level. In other words, the balance of forces in the up, down, left, and right directions that rotate the torque wrench can vary depending on the operator's proficiency. Therefore, there is a need for a device that can accurately rotate the insulating plug around a horizontal axis of rotation without applying torsional stress to the insulating plug in the up, down, left, and right directions.
