Abstract

A display device and a method for manufacturing a display device are provided. The substrate comprises a main portion and a plurality of protruding patterns protruding outwardly from the edge of the main portion, a display layer disposed on each protruding pattern of the substrate, a first insulating film covering the display layer, and a second insulating film disposed on the first insulating film, wherein one side of adjacent protruding patterns is separated by a cut portion and faces each other, and the first insulating film on each protruding pattern covers the upper surface of the display layer, and the first insulating film on adjacent protruding patterns is separated by a cut portion and faces each other in a plan view, and the second insulating film on each protruding pattern is disposed on the upper surface of the first insulating film but is not disposed on the side of the display layer.

Claims (20)

  1. A substrate comprising a main portion and a plurality of protruding patterns protruding outwardly from the edge of the main portion; A display layer disposed on each of the protruding patterns of the substrate; A first insulating film covering the above-mentioned display layer; and A second insulating film disposed on the first insulating film, comprising: One side of the aforementioned adjacent protruding patterns is separated by an incision and faces each other, and On each of the above protruding patterns, the first insulating film covers the upper surface of the display layer, and the first insulating films on adjacent protruding patterns are separated and face each other with the cut portion in between in the plan view. Display device and method of manufacturing the same The present invention relates to a display device and a method for manufacturing a display device. As the information society develops, the demand for display devices to show images is increasing in various forms.
