Description

System and Method for Generating Virtual Engine Sound of Vehicle The present invention relates to a system and method for generating a virtual engine sound of a vehicle. Since electric vehicles do not generate engine noise while driving, they are equipped with an Electronic Sound Generator (ESG) that reproduces virtual engine sounds to produce appropriate virtual engine sounds suited to the vehicle's driving conditions. However, these electronic sound generators have limitations in that they produce standardized virtual engine sounds, making it difficult to customize them for users or reflect the latest trends. Therefore, there is a need for the development of technology capable of generating virtual engine sounds that are customized for users and reflect the latest trends. FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram showing the configuration of a virtual engine sound generation system for a vehicle according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing the configuration of a virtual engine sound generating device according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIGS. 3a to 3d are drawings illustrating an interface for designing My Sound according to an embodiment of the present invention.
