Description

Hair Dye Composition This specification relates to a hair dye composition. Generally, oxidative hair dyes impart color to the hair by penetrating oxidative dye precursors and couplers into the hair and binding them through an oxidative condensation reaction. While some oxidative hair dyes consist of a single formulation, they are generally composed of a dye (Part 1) and an oxidizing agent (Part 2). Part 1 contains oxidative dye precursors and couplers as the dyes for color, as well as alkaline agents such as ammonia that swell the hair and promote the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide to induce an oxidation reaction. The hydrogen peroxide contained in the oxidizing agent (Part 2) decomposes the melanin in the hair to lighten the base color and accelerates the oxidation reaction of the dye. These oxidative hair dyes are broadly classified into gel and cream formulations. Unlike cream formulations, gel dyes are convenient to use as they can be applied by hand; however, compared to cream formulations, they have lower adhesion, resulting in less color development, and may run down due to the heat of the scalp after application. Therefore, there is a need to develop a gel-type hair dye that does not drip when applied to hair and offers excellent color development through high adhesion. The present invention will be described in detail below. In one aspect, the present invention provides a hair dye composition comprising polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether. In one embodiment, the weight ratio of the polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and the polyoxyethylene lauryl ether may be 1:0.12 to less than 4. If the weight ratio of the polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and the polyoxyethylene lauryl ether falls outside the above range, spreadability may be reduced. Specifically, the weight ratio of the polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and the polyoxyethylene lauryl ether may be less than 1:0.12 to 4, preferably 1:0.12 to 3.9, preferably 1:0.12 to 3.8, preferably 1:0.12 to 3.7, preferably 1:0.12 to 3.6, preferably 1:0.12 to 3.5, preferably 1:0.2 to 3.5, preferably 1:0.2 to 3.4, preferably 1:0.2 to 3.3, preferably 1:0.2 to 3.2, preferably 1:0.2 to 3.1, preferably 1:0.2 to 3, preferably 1:0.4 to 3, preferably 1:0.4 to 2.5, preferably 1:0.4 to 2, and preferably 1:1. In this specification, HLB stands for Hydrophilic-Lipophile Balance and is an indicator representing the balance between the hydrophilicity and lipophilicity of a surfactant. A high HLB value indicates a high proportion of hydrophilicity, while a low HLB value indicates a low proportion. The HLB value can be calculated using the following mathematical formula 1. [Mathematical Formula 1] HLB = 20 * Mh / M Mh is the molecular weight of the hydrophilic portion of the molecule, and M is the molecular weight of the total molecule. In one embodiment, the HLB value of the polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether may be 14 or higher. If the HLB value of the polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether is less than 14, the spreadability of the hair dye composition is reduced. Specifically, the HLB value of the polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether may be 14 or higher, 15 or higher, or 16 or higher, and 20 or lower, 19 or lower, 18 or lower, or 17 or lower. In one embodiment, the hair dye composition may be used as a second agent containing an oxidizing agent in an oxidizing type hair dye. In one aspect, the present invention provides a hair dye kit, wherein the kit comprises a first agent and a second agent, and the second agent comprises an oxidizing agent, polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether. In one embodiment, the HLB value of the polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether may be 14 or higher. If the HLB value of the polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether is less than 14, spreadability is reduced. Specifically, the HLB value of the polyoxyethylene oleyl ether and polyoxyethylene lauryl ether may be 14 or higher, 15 or higher, or 16 or higher, and 20 or lower, 19 or lower, 18 or lower, or 17 or lower.
