Claims (12)

  1. Description

Cosmetic comprising a freeze-dried makeup pad The present invention discloses a cosmetic product comprising a freeze-dried makeup pad. Traditional makeup routines consist of various skincare steps, such as toners, lotions, and creams that provide moisturizing effects, and makeup steps, such as makeup bases and foundations, that conceal skin imperfections and improve complexion. This conventional method has the disadvantage of requiring a large number of products, being complex, and time-consuming. Furthermore, it can be even more inconvenient in outdoor environments, such as during travel or outings, as it is difficult to carry all product lines. Therefore, if a makeup pad providing both moisturizing and complexion-improving effects is offered to improve upon existing makeup routines, it would be possible to eliminate the need for various skincare and makeup products and shorten makeup time, as a single product could fulfill all essential functions of both. Additionally, since it would be provided in a pad form that does not leave product residue on the hands, it would offer enhanced portability, providing the advantage of being usable regardless of location. Figure 1 shows the results of an evaluation on whether freeze-drying is possible according to one experimental example. Figure 2 shows the results of the skin delivery evaluation according to one experimental example. The present disclosure will be described in detail below. In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a cosmetic product comprising: a makeup pad immersed in and freeze-dried with a first composition; and a second composition that contacts the makeup pad to activate the first composition immersed in and freeze-dried with the makeup pad, wherein the first composition comprises a polyol, an oil, water, and a powder. The first composition above is a makeup composition that provides makeup and moisturizing effects, and is immersed in a makeup pad and freeze-dried. Since the first composition is freeze-dried, it does not stick to the hands when applied to a makeup pad, thus providing the effect of high portability. In an exemplary embodiment, the first composition may preferably be of the underwater type. In an exemplary embodiment, the polyol may be included in an amount of 5 to 30 weight percent based on the total weight of the first composition. If the content of the polyol is less than 5 weight percent, the moisturizing effect may be insufficient, and if it exceeds 30 weight percent, the first composition may not be uniformly deposited on the makeup pad or may stick to the hands due to residual contents that are not freeze-dried. In another exemplary embodiment, the polyol may be included in an amount of 5 wt% or more, 6 wt% or more, 7 wt% or more, 8 wt% or more, 9 wt% or more, 10 wt% or more, 11 wt% or more, 12 wt% or more, 13 wt% or more, 14 wt% or more, 15 wt% or more, 16 wt% or more, 17 wt% or more, 18 wt% or more, 19 wt% or more, or 20 wt% or more, based on the total weight of the first composition, and 30 wt% or less, 29 wt% or less, 28 wt% or less, 27 wt% or less, 26 wt% or less, 25 wt% or less, 24 wt% or less, 23 wt% or less, 22 wt% or less, 21 wt% or less, or 20 wt% or less. In an exemplary embodiment, the polyol may be one or more selected from the group consisting of polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, glycerin, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, propanediol, dipropylene glycol, diglycerin, hexylene glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, methylpropanediol, pentylene glycol, isoprene glycol, erythritol, panthenol, glycereth-26, and ethoxydiglycol. In an exemplary embodiment, the oil may be included in an amount of 5 to 20 weight percent based on the total weight of the first composition. If the oil content is less than 5 weight percent, it may feel dry or not spread smoothly, and if it exceeds 20 weight percent, the first composition may not be uniformly deposited on the makeup pad or may get on the hands due to residual contents that are not freeze-dried. In another exemplary embodiment, the oil may be included in an amount of 5 wt% or more, 6 wt% or more, 7 wt% or more, 8 wt% or more, 9 wt% or more, 10 wt% or more, 11 wt% or more, 12 wt% or more, 13 wt% or more, 14 wt% or more, or 15 wt% or more, based on the total weight of the first composition, and 20 wt% or less, 19 wt% or less, 18 wt% or less, 17 wt% or less, 16 wt% or less, 15 wt% or less, 14 wt% or less, 13 wt% or less, 12 wt% or less, 11 wt% or less, or 10 wt% or less. In an exemplary embodiment, the oil may be one or more selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon-based oil, ester-based oil, natural oil, and silicone-based oil.
