Description
Electrical connection terminal for vehicle The present invention relates to an electrical connection terminal for a vehicle, and more specifically, to an electrical connection terminal for a vehicle capable of structurally securing connection stability with a counterpart terminal. Generally, electric vehicles utilize a motor as a driving source to generate driving force, and are equipped with a battery and an inverter to supply power to the motor. The motor typically receives power from the battery through an electrical connector. Recently, connectors used in vehicles are classified into low-voltage and high-voltage types based on their allowable current. For high-voltage connectors, the terminal size is proportional to the allowable current value, and the terminals used in high-voltage connectors are manufactured in blade and round types. Round type terminals are formed with a cylindrical structure, which allows for a structurally stable electrical connection with the counterpart terminal even under vehicle vibration conditions. However, when the allowable current is increased, the radius size increases to increase the cross-sectional area, and consequently, the size of the high-voltage connector increases inefficiently. Although the blade-type terminal (i.e., blade terminal) shows a smaller increase in size with increasing allowable current compared to the round-type terminal mentioned above, there are limitations to stable electrical connection with the mating terminal under vehicle vibration conditions due to its plate-like structure. Accordingly, conventional blade terminals require structurally ensuring contact stability with the mating terminal to prevent quality degradation.
