Abstract

The present invention relates to a pipe multi-cutting device, which enables a single pipe material to be simultaneously cut into multiple short pipes by means of a plurality of circular cutters that rotate in the opposite direction to the pipe material while the pipe material is clamped to the chuck of a lathe. The cutter assembly is configured such that a plurality of circular cutters are installed, the diameter of which decreases from the outer cutting position to the inner cutting position of the pipe material, thereby forming a fine height difference on a horizontal line. Accordingly, the cutting of the pipe material is performed sequentially from the outer side to the inner side, thereby enabling the stable simultaneous cutting of multiple short pipes and improving cutting efficiency.

  3. A pipe multi-cutting device according to claim 1, characterized in that a blocking bar is disposed in the recess of the spacer to prevent access to and push away the cut pipe.

Description

Pipe multi-cutting device The present invention relates to a pipe multi-cutting device capable of simultaneously cutting a single pipe material into multiple short pipes by means of a plurality of circular cutters that rotate in the opposite direction to the pipe material while rotating the pipe material clamped on a shelf. In particular, the invention relates to a technology capable of stably and simultaneously cutting multiple short pipes by using a plurality of circular cutters of different diameters to ensure that cutting is performed sequentially from the outside to the inside. Generally, pipes are widely used across various industrial sectors, with products of various diameters and lengths being commonly used. However, as demand patterns have recently shifted toward a variety of products in small quantities, it is common practice to cut standard-length pipes (usually around 6m) into appropriate lengths to suit specific product applications and market them. Therefore, pipe manufacturers and processing companies are required to have pipe cutters for cutting pipes. Typically, a bench lathe or CNC lathe is used to rotate the workpiece, i.e., the pipe, and to move the workpiece while bringing a cutting tool, such as a cutting tool, into contact with the rotating workpiece to machine and cut the outer and inner diameters. Such conventional pipe cutting devices process the material by rotating it to cut it into pieces of a predetermined length one by one, and then chamfering the edges of both ends of the cut pipes using a chamfering machine. Therefore, the conventional processing method of cutting standard-length pipes into specific lengths one by one is inefficient and involves a large number of cutting operations, while having very low productivity and high manufacturing costs due to increased labor costs. In addition, since the cutting process of such pipes relies solely on the rotational force of the lathe as a cutting tool while rotating the pipe to be cut with the pipe fixed in the chuck of the lathe, a heavy load is applied, which results in a slow cutting speed and inefficient cutting operation, and there is a drawback of rapid wear of the cutting tool. FIG. 1 is a plan view of a pipe multi-cutting device according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a front view of a pipe multi-cutting device according to an embodiment of the present invention. Figure 3 is an exploded view of a circular cutter. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of FIG. 3. Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view showing the difference in diameter of the rotary cutter. FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of a state in which a round cutter of a different diameter is cut while chamfered by a chamfering tool. FIG. 7 is an example of a pipe that has been chamfered and cut to a predetermined length. FIG. 8 is a partially enlarged cross-sectional view of a blocking bar that blocks the cut pipe from entering the circular cutter. FIG. 9 is a side view illustrating the operating state of the blocking bar.
