Description
Rigid film and display device having the same Embodiments of the present invention relate to a reinforcing substrate and a display device equipped with the same. A display device is a device that visually displays data. Display devices are used as displays for small products such as mobile phones, as well as for large products such as televisions. Recently, as the applications of display devices have become more diverse, various designs are being attempted to improve the quality and functionality of display devices. Recently, flexible display layers such as foldable display layers that can be folded and rollable display layers that can be rolled into a roll shape are being developed. FIGS. 1 and FIGS. 2 are schematic perspective views of a display device according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing a part of a display device according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing a part of a reinforcing substrate according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing a portion of a reinforcing substrate according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIGS. 6a to 6c are cross-sectional views illustrating the principle of surface crease phenomenon. FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing a part of a reinforcing substrate according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view schematically showing a portion of a reinforcing substrate according to one embodiment of the present invention. The effects and features of the present invention, and the methods for achieving them, will become clear by referring to the embodiments described below in detail together with the accompanying drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments disclosed below but may be implemented in various different forms. These embodiments are provided merely to ensure that the disclosure of the present invention is complete and to fully inform those skilled in the art of the scope of the invention, and the present invention is defined only by the scope of the claims. Shapes, sizes, ratios, angles, numbers, etc. disclosed in the drawings for describing embodiments of the present invention are exemplary and are not limited to the illustrated details of the present invention. Throughout the specification, the same reference numerals refer to the same components. In describing the present invention, detailed descriptions of related prior art are omitted if it is determined that such descriptions may unnecessarily obscure the essence of the present invention.
