Description
Funeral Guidance System and Method Combining Electronic Records The present invention relates to a funeral guidance system and method combined with an electronic condolence register, and more specifically, to a funeral guidance system and method combined with an electronic condolence register that allows for the electronic recording of visits by mourners by placing an electronic condolence register terminal at the funeral parlor and providing funeral guidance to the bereaved family. In the current funeral procedures, visitors record their attendance by visiting the funeral home and writing their names in a guestbook consisting of velvet covers on the front and back and paper pages. However, the conventional method of recording visits by hand has several drawbacks, including difficulty in identifying subscribers based on individual handwriting or Chinese characters, difficulty in distinguishing between mourners with the same name, the inconvenience of having to perform separate computerization work, difficulties in storage and management, waste of resources and unsuitability for environmental friendliness, and the cumbersome task of having to count the number of visitors manually. Furthermore, there is a problem in that, when carrying out current funeral procedures, bereaved families lack knowledge about the process and find it difficult to obtain reliable information, requiring the assistance of funeral directors and having no choice but to trust and rely on them entirely. Furthermore, the current funeral procedures are plagued by various forms of inconvenience and damage, including unnecessary expenses resulting from joining mutual aid societies that include high labor costs for funeral professionals, enrollment in unreliable societies, demands for additional fees, and solicitation of mutual aid society subscriptions targeting mourners. In addition, among the current funeral procedures, those entrusted to funeral homes present an inconvenient problem in that it is difficult for bereaved families to receive personalized service, and they must personally inquire about and find information. Furthermore, funeral homes currently conducting funeral procedures face challenges such as the difficulty of operating while closely managing a large number of bereaved families with limited staff, rising labor costs and recruitment difficulties resulting from maintaining, improving, and supplementing service quality, increased work fatigue among funeral professionals due to unnecessary face-to-face interactions and customer service, and deteriorating profitability caused by a reduction in service revenue excluding rent, as well as a decrease in the professionalism and role of funeral homes due to the increase in customers subscribing to mutual aid insurance.
