Description
Syringe Labeling Apparatus Equipped with Defective Label Separation and Removal Function The present invention relates to a labeling device for syringes equipped with a defective label removal function, and more specifically, to a labeling device equipped with a defective label separation processing function that detects a defective label during the process of attaching a label to a syringe and selectively separates and removes the defective label when the defective label occurs, thereby preventing labeling defects. Generally, when administering drugs such as analgesics, antibiotics, or anticancer drugs to a patient, they may be mixed with intravenous fluids or liquid medications. For example, when mixing powder medications with intravenous fluids or liquid medications in a medical setting, a needle is inserted into a container, such as an intravenous fluid bag or vial, containing the intravenous fluid or liquid medication to puncture the container; the intravenous fluid or liquid medication inside the container is drawn up and collected into a syringe, after which the needle is removed from the container. Then, the needle of the syringe containing the intravenous fluid or liquid medication is inserted into a container containing the powder medication to puncture the container, and the intravenous fluid or liquid medication inside the syringe is injected into the container and mixed. A conventional syringe is a medical device used to inject drugs into the human body or collect bodily fluids; it is widely used in medical settings and requires performance capabilities such as precise dosage control and safe injection. Such a syringe may consist of a barrel (cylinder), which is a transparent cylindrical body composed of a cylinder, a piston, and a needle; a plunger that moves back and forth inside the barrel; and a needle responsible for the inflow or outflow of the drug. Additionally, labels containing information such as product details, manufacturing numbers, expiration dates, and barcodes may be attached to medical devices like syringes and containers for pharmaceuticals. Such labeling can be performed through an automatic labeling system, and a release liner with a label attached is supplied in a reel form, and as the release liner is conveyed, the label attached to the release liner is peeled off and can be adhered to the surface of the syringe. A conventional syringe labeling system can operate by peeling a label attached to a release liner from the release liner and adhering it to the surface of the syringe when the syringe is transported to the labeling position. At this time, the release liner with the label attached can be mounted on a reel and supplied to the labeling attachment section through a continuous feeding method. Additionally, the syringe labeling system may be provided with technology to inspect the condition of the label attached to the release liner and determine whether it is defective before attaching the label to the syringe. However, the conventional syringe labeling system described above has the problem that, even if a defective label is identified, it cannot selectively remove or process the label from the release liner, and therefore requires the subsequent rejection of the syringe with the attached label or manual rework, which not only reduces productivity but also causes frequent syringe labeling defects.
