Description

Safety Devices For Work In Gas Insulated Switchgear The present invention relates to a gas-insulated switchgear, and more specifically, to a safety device for use in a gas-insulated switchgear, which is one of the substation facilities, for preventing a worker from falling and ensuring safety. Generally, a Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) refers to a core transmission and distribution device that uses sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) gas, which has excellent insulation properties, to cut off power when a power system accident such as a short circuit occurs, thereby protecting other equipment such as transformers and preventing the accident from spreading. Gas-insulated switchgear is installed in power plants or substations and is used as the primary protection device for power equipment. Gas-insulated switchgear can reduce costs because the distance between wires can be reduced due to the excellent insulation properties of SF6, which is used to embed wires in the center of the cylinder and fill it with SF6 gas. Additionally, since the live part is located inside the cylinder, it has the advantage of being virtually unaffected by the environment and preventing accidents involving human casualties. Since gas-insulated switchgear is a very important piece of equipment, maintenance and repair are carried out around it. Figure 1 is a work site photograph of a large gas-insulated switchgear equipped with a general work safety device, and Figure 2 shows the configuration of the main part of Figure 1. As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, particularly in large gas-insulated switchgear of 154kV or higher, dangerous high-altitude work is performed by a worker walking on a GIS cylinder (10) located at a height of 2m or more to disconnect grounding pads, inspect CT terminal blocks, etc. Accordingly, in accordance with Article 44 of the Rules on Industrial Safety and Health Standards, a work safety device (2) equipped with a safety rope (40) that can be fastened to a safety line (50) connected to the safety belt is installed to ensure the safety of the worker. More specifically, as illustrated in FIG. 2, the working safety device (2) of the gas-insulated switchgear comprises a pair of fixing plates (20) installed so as to be spaced apart from the upper part of the GIS cylinder (20), a fixing band (25) that fixes the pair of fixing plates (20) to the GIS cylinder (20), a pair of supporting rods (30) each fixed vertically to the pair of fixing plates (20), and a safety rope (40) installed on the upper part of the pair of supporting rods (30). And a tension-maintaining part (45) capable of maintaining tension is installed in the safety rope (40). Therefore, the worker performs work by walking on the GIS cylinder (10) after attaching the safety line (50) to the safety rope (40). Even if the worker slips or falls while working on the GIS cylinder (10), the worker can preserve their life by hanging from the safety rope (40). Meanwhile, in the work safety device (2) of a conventional gas-insulated switchgear, the fixing plate (20) serves as a fixing part that allows the work safety device to be attached and detached to the upper part of the GIS cylinder (10). However, since the fixing plate (20) is formed in the shape of a square plate, when it comes into contact with the upper surface of the GIS cylinder (10), the area becomes small, so the fixing force may be weakened, and there may be a problem where the deviation increases depending on the diameter of the GIS cylinder (10). Figure 1 is a field photograph of a large gas-insulated switchgear equipped with a general safety device for operation. Figure 2 shows the configuration of the main part of Figure 1. FIG. 3 is a configuration diagram of the main parts of a work safety device for a gas-insulated switchgear according to one embodiment of the present invention. Figure 4 is an unfolded view of the link fixing part of Figure 3. Figure 5 shows the installation process of the link fixing part. Figure 6 is a detailed view of the fixed belt section of Figure 3. FIG. 7 is a configuration diagram of the main parts of a work safety device for a gas-insulated switchgear according to another embodiment of the present invention. Figure 8 is a plan view of the step ladder section of Figure 7. Figure 9 is a plan view of the ladder of Figure 8 in an unfolded state. Figure 10 shows a ladder with the length extension extended. FIG. 12 is an enlarged view of area "C" of FIG. 10, showing the operation of the extended fixing part. Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the attached drawings. The present invention is capable of various modifications and may have various embodiments, and specific embodiments are illustrated in the drawings and described in detail in the detailed description.
