KR-102964505-B1 - Puzzle Case with Mounting Accessories
Abstract
A puzzle case capable of displaying a puzzle is disclosed, comprising upper and lower panels that, when connected together, form a cavity capable of holding the puzzle. Generally, the upper panel and the lower panel each comprise four sections configured to be connected and attached to each other to form a space or cavity for holding a jigsaw puzzle. Mounting points allow the assembled case to be hung.

- As a puzzle case, the puzzle case is: A transparent upper panel comprising a plurality of upper sections configured to be detachably connected to one another; and A lower panel comprising a plurality of lower sections configured to be detachably connected to one another, wherein the outer edge walls provided on the lower panel extend upward beyond the upper surface of the lower panel, and the area of the upper surface of the lower panel is configured to accommodate jigsaw puzzle pieces; The upper panel may be operatively engaged with the lower panel at the outer periphery of the lower panel, and when the upper panel and the lower panel are operatively engaged with each other, a cavity is formed by the upper panel and the lower panel, and the outer edge walls surround the cavity when the puzzle case is assembled. The upper panel and the lower panel can be detachably attached to each other using a plurality of clips extending downward from the outer periphery of the upper panel, and A puzzle case in which the cavity of the puzzle case has a depth sufficient to accommodate a jigsaw puzzle assembled within the cavity, and due to the depth of the cavity, the assembled jigsaw puzzle can be clamped between the upper panel and the lower panel and displayed through the upper panel.
- In paragraph 1, The above lower panel is a puzzle case including structural reinforcements.
- In paragraph 2, The lower panel above is a puzzle case including ribs.
- In paragraph 1, A puzzle case in which the upper panel comprises four upper sections and the lower panel comprises four lower sections.
- In paragraph 1, A puzzle case in which the outer edge walls have a height corresponding to the thickness of a jigsaw puzzle that can be accommodated inside.
- In paragraph 1, The above multiple lower sections are opaque, puzzle cases.
- In paragraph 1, The puzzle case further comprises at least one mounting point provided on the rear surface of the lower panel, and the at least one mounting point is configured to enable fixing of the puzzle case to a vertical surface.
- In paragraph 1, The above cavity is a puzzle case having a depth small enough to clamp a completed jigsaw puzzle between the upper panel and the lower panel.

Description
Puzzle Case with Mounting Accessories The present invention relates to a puzzle case having an integrated mounting function. Jigsaw puzzles are a form of entertainment or mental challenge. Some jigsaw puzzles are very complex, and completing them provides the user with a sense of accomplishment. When a puzzle is completed, it can be stored back in its original container or placed inside a custom jigsaw puzzle container. There are no jigsaw puzzle containers capable of storing the final product within a case that can be mounted and displayed, or within which the puzzle can be performed. Generally, this is accomplished using a picture frame. Preferred features, embodiments, and variations of the present invention may be known from the following detailed description, which provides sufficient information to those skilled in the art to practice the present invention. The detailed description should not be construed as limiting the scope of the preceding summary of the present invention in any way. The detailed description will refer to some drawings as follows. FIG. 1 illustrates a fully assembled finished puzzle case including upper and lower panels; FIG. 2 is a bottom perspective view of a puzzle case; FIG. 3 is an exploded view of the puzzle case; FIG. 4 is a bottom view of the lower panel; Figure 5 is a top view and a bottom view of the panels. The following detailed description of the invention refers to the accompanying drawings. Where possible, the same reference numbers will be used to refer to identical and similar parts throughout the drawings and the following description. The dimensions of specific parts shown in the drawings may be modified and/or exaggerated for the purpose of clarity or illustration. Referring to FIGS. 1 through 3, the puzzle case (10) includes eight sub-sections. However, it is not limited to having eight sub-sections. A puzzle case (10) with optional mounting accessories comprises upper panel sections (2, 4, 6, 8) and at least one clip (700) extending downward from the edge of each panel section. A lower panel (20) comprises lower sections (12, 14, 16, 18) and at least one clip hole or opening (702) located at the edge of each lower section, into which a corresponding clip on the upper panel can engage with a corresponding clip hole. A mounting point (301) on the back panels may be used to hang a display puzzle container. The lower sections (12, 14, 16, 18) are connected to form a single lower panel (20). The lower sections (12, 14, 16, 18) are connected to each other by female clips (802) and male clips (800) that interlock by pushing them together, as shown in FIG. 3. The male clips (800) and female clips (802) are located on the inner edges of each of the lower sections (12, 14, 16, 18). The inner edges of the lower panel sections have at least one male clip (800) and at least one female clip (802), which are placed in parallel with each other on opposing lower panel sections. FIG. 4 shows an example of the arrangement of the clips (800, 802) on the inner edges. It will be understood that there may be many solutions for how the lower sections are connected and that the invention is not limited to this particular embodiment. The outer edges of the lower panel sections include female clip holes (702), which are juxtaposed with male clips (700) of the upper panel outer edges. The lower sections (12, 14, 16, 18) include a flat and smooth upper surface on which a puzzle can be placed. The bottom surface of the lower sections (12, 14, 16, 18) has a surface formed with ribbed extrusions in a grid pattern to add rigidity to the panel and prevent the panel from bending (Figs. 2, 4). A mounting point (301) is located at the center of each of the lower panel sections. The mounting point (301) is square in shape and is positioned on the back of the lower panel (Fig. 4), and a D-shaped hook is located at the center of the square. The D-shaped hook is surrounded by ribbed extrusions that help reinforce the plate, as shown in Fig. 5. The invention is not intended to be limited to having mounting points. After the above lower sections (12, 14, 16, 18) are connected to form a single lower panel (20), a jigsaw puzzle can be placed on the upper part of the lower panel (20). Of course, the jigsaw puzzle can be fixed inside the lower panel (20). The upper panel (22) is assembled by interlocking each of the upper panel sections (2, 4, 6, 8) together. Each upper panel section (2, 4, 6, 8) includes an inner lip (200). The inner lip (200) is the entire length of one inner panel edge and is designed to accommodate the lip (202) of the opposing panel by moving up or down of the opposing lip (200, 202). Thus, the alternately arranged sections will have a configuration in which the opposing lips are alternately arranged. The upper panel sections (2, 4, 6, 8) are connected by pushing the inner ribs (200, 202) together. The inner ribs (200, 202) hold the upper panel sections together to form a single uppe
