Abstract

The present invention is provided with lighting means configured to emit light outward from the sides of a bed, thereby enabling the creation of a 'mood (or sleep) environment' for the interior; A bed (1) having a lighting function comprising: a base frame (2) formed of a ‘plate member’ having a ‘plate’ shape and having legs (21) attached to the bottom surface; a mattress (3) stacked on the upper part of the base frame (2); a lighting means (4) configured to emit light by receiving power; and a binding means (5) configured to bind the lighting means (4) to the base frame (2); wherein the binding means (5) comprises a lower outer shell (51) having thickness and stacked to wrap around the outer lower part of the base frame (2), and an upper outer shell (52) having thickness and stacked to wrap around the outer upper part of the base frame (2) while having a gap between the lower part and the upper part of the lower outer shell (51). The lighting means (4) is coupled by being fitted into the gap formed between the upper end of the lower outer shell (51) and the lower end of the upper outer shell (52), and comprises a lighting outer shell (41) in the shape of a ‘pipe’ made of a ‘translucent material’ that is flexibly bent and allows light to pass through, and a plurality of lighting lights (42) arranged with gaps inside the lighting outer shell (41) and receiving power to emit light, thereby providing a bed having a lighting function.

Claims (2)

  1. A bed (1) having a lighting function comprising: a base frame (2) formed of a ‘plate member’ having a ‘plate’ shape and having legs (21) attached to the bottom surface; a mattress (3) stacked on top of the base frame (2); a lighting means (4) configured to emit light by receiving power; and a binding means (5) configured to attach the lighting means (4) to the base frame (2); The above binding means (5) is, It includes a lower outer shell (51) having thickness and stacked to surround the outer lower portion of the base frame (2), and an upper outer shell (52) having thickness and stacked to surround the outer upper portion of the base frame (2) while having a gap between the lower portion and the upper portion of the lower outer shell (51); The above lighting means (4) is, A bed having a lighting function, characterized by including a ‘pipe’ shaped lighting outer casing (41) made of a ‘translucent material’ that is flexibly folded and connected by being fitted into the gap formed between the upper end of the lower outer casing (51) and the lower end of the upper outer casing (52), and a plurality of lighting lights (42) arranged with gaps inside the lighting outer casing (41) and receiving power to emit light.
  2. In Article 1; The light wavelengths emitted from the above lighting lights (42) are, A bed having a lighting function characterized by being composed of a 'wavelength range' in which 'melatonin secretion' is formed when light is irradiated to a user.

Description

Bed with lighting function The present invention relates to a bed having a lighting function that enhances decorative quality by enabling decorative lighting that emits light outward. Specifically, the invention relates to a bed having a lighting function that is suitable for creating a 'mood (or sleep) environment' in an indoor space by providing lighting means configured to emit light outward from the sides of the bed. Generally, beds, which are furniture for sleeping and resting, are seeing a daily increase in usage in Korea as bedroom culture shifts from ondol to beds; consequently, they are being manufactured and used in various materials, shapes, and structures depending on the purpose of use, location, and user preferences. Recently, beds are being released that are equipped with various functions, such as music playback and aroma diffusion, to help stabilize the user's mind and body and soothe their emotions, going beyond simply providing a place to sleep. One of these is the proposal of beds equipped with a lighting function to serve as a bedside lamp or mood light. In addition, as research has revealed that the sleep-regulating hormone melatonin is affected by light, functional beds designed to induce sleep by manipulating melatonin using light are being proposed through various experiments. In other words, research results have been published showing that green light maximizes the wavelength range most effectively for melatonin secretion among the various wavelengths emitted from sunlight, and photobiological safety tests have certified that green light is harmless to the human eye. As mentioned above, green light is known to be effective in improving sleep disorders by regulating the secretion of melatonin hormone through its absorption into the retina of the eye and stimulation of the pineal gland in the brain. Korean Utility Model Registration No. 20-0339949 (Title: Bed equipped with lighting/Registered on January 14, 2004), as disclosed in the publication, a bed equipped with lighting is described in which a lighting fixture is installed inside the frame installed at both ends and the rear end, and a light-transmitting member is provided in the upper opening, thereby emitting a soft and gentle light around the perimeter of the bed without causing eye fatigue to the user, without the need for a separate independent bedside light or mood light, thus providing a cozy and warm bedroom atmosphere. Meanwhile, Korean Patent Registration No. 10-2567065 (Title: Sleep-inducing bed equipped with a lighting unit / Registered on August 9, 2023) describes a bed comprising, as disclosed in the publication, a frame unit; a mattress unit formed with an elastic structure and installed on the frame unit; a lighting unit installed on the frame unit and configured to emit light that induces sleep; and a control unit for controlling the light emitted from the lighting unit, wherein the lighting unit is configured to emit green light. FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective illustration showing a bed having a lighting function according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a schematic cross-sectional example showing a bed having a lighting function according to the present embodiment. FIGS. 3 and 4 are excerpted schematic cross-sectional examples showing lighting means and fastening means constituting a bed having a lighting function according to the present embodiment. FIG. 5 is a partially excerpted schematic cross-sectional example showing another example of a lighting means constituting a bed having a lighting function according to the present embodiment. FIG. 6 is a partially excerpted schematic cross-sectional example showing a binding means constituting a bed having a lighting function according to the present embodiment. Hereinafter, a bed having a lighting function according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings. Embodiments of the present invention may be modified in various forms, and the scope of the present invention should not be interpreted as being limited to the embodiments described in detail below.
