Abstract

The present invention relates to an earthing pad for human body grounding and electromagnetic wave blocking of electric heating mats. More specifically, it is characterized by improving the electromagnetic wave blocking effect by canceling out the electromagnetic field generated by the electric heating mat when placed on the upper surface of the electric heating mat and using it, thereby minimizing the generation of electromagnetic waves. The earthing pad for blocking electromagnetic waves of the above-mentioned human body grounding and electric heating mat is characterized by having a bottom layer and a shielding layer formed on the upper surface of the bottom layer using a conductive fabric or conductive material, an insulating layer that does not conduct electricity formed on the upper surface of the shielding layer, and a surface layer made of a conductive fabric or conductive material stacked in sequence on the upper surface of the insulating layer, wherein the surface layer is configured as a set comprising a shielding layer grounding connection terminal, a surface layer grounding connection terminal, and a grounding cord that enables the shielding layer and the surface layer to make contact with the ground, so that certain parts of the surface layer can conduct electricity independently of each other.

Description

Earthing pad for human body grounding and electromagnetic wave blocking of electric heating mat The present invention relates to an earthing pad that enables the human body to electrically connect with the ground indoors, and provides an electromagnetic wave blocking effect by canceling out the electromagnetic field generated by a standard electric heating mat when placed on top of it, thereby minimizing the generation of electromagnetic waves. The earthing pad of the present invention utilizes a grounding cord to enable connection to the ground by mounting individual grounding connection terminals on the internal shielding plate and the surface conductive fabric. Generally, an earthing pad is a type of bedding that uses conductive fabric or material to combine a grounding system to allow indirect contact between the ground and the human body indoors, thereby achieving an effect similar to walking barefoot. Human body grounding refers to direct contact with the ground outdoors, such as walking barefoot, sitting, or working, and this grounding pad allows the human body to maintain contact with the ground by utilizing a grounding system in indoor life. In modern lifestyles, our bodies are increasingly having fewer opportunities to come into contact with the earth. Shoes are mostly made of plastic, which is a non-conductive material, and residential environments also consist mostly of floors and walls made of insulating materials. The roads are also covered with asphalt, which acts as an insulator, reducing the opportunity for contact between the human body and the ground. The infinite development of electrical, electronic, and telecommunications generates electromagnetic waves in the surrounding environment that affect our bodies, and contact or friction with clothing or household items made of synthetic fibers greatly increases static electricity in the human body. These excessive static electricity or electromagnetic waves disrupt the bioelectrical environment of the human body. As such, long-term exposure to electromagnetic waves and excessive static electricity necessitate the need for human body grounding. And the electric heating mats we use have long been a household necessity, and they use alternating current. Alternating current forms a variable electromagnetic field around a wire through which current flows. A variable electromagnetic field generates a displacement current in a nearby conductive material. This process is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. Electric heating mats that utilize such electric energy generate electric and magnetic fields due to the electric energy, and users who lie or sit on them are inevitably exposed to a large amount of harmful electromagnetic waves. The human body enables mechanisms for emotional regulation, memory, and behavior through a minute electronic signal system; however, if the body is exposed to electromagnetic waves for a long period, the dose of radiation increases proportionally to time, making it impossible to rule out the problem of adverse effects from electromagnetic waves. In addition, along with electromagnetic waves, static electricity, which irritates the human body, causes sparks upon contact, leading to disharmony in the biological system that causes irritation, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, and discomfort. This is also because general electric heating mats are classified as Class 2 electrical products without grounding wires, making it impossible to effectively block electromagnetic waves. Therefore, based on these facts, various technologies for removing electromagnetic waves have been developed and applied to commonly used electric heating mats.
