Sealing Tape Attachment Device with Adjustable Sealing Tape Extraction Length The present invention relates to a sealing tape attachment device capable of adjusting the sealing tape ejection length. Specifically, the invention relates to a sealing tape attachment device capable of adjusting the sealing tape ejection length so that a sealing tape of an appropriate length can be attached according to the diameter of the jelly-roll type assembly supplied to the supply position of the jelly-roll type assembly. Due to the need for eco-friendly alternative energy driven by rapidly worsening climate change and carbon emission regulations, research and development on lithium-ion batteries with high energy density and high power output characteristics is actively underway. Lithium secondary batteries can be classified into cylindrical, prismatic, and pouch-type cells depending on their shape, and the cylindrical cell is widely used due to its structural safety and standardized size. Generally, a cylindrical battery cell is manufactured by applying an electrode active material to an electrode current collector, drying it, and then roll-pressing and cutting it to produce a positive electrode sheet and a negative electrode sheet, inserting a separator sheet between the positive electrode sheet and the negative electrode sheet and winding it to produce a jelly-roll type electrode assembly, inserting the jelly-roll type electrode assembly into a cylindrical battery can, injecting an electrolyte, and then sealing it. Defects may occur during the manufacturing process of the aforementioned anode sheet, cathode sheet, and separator sheet, and it is difficult to remove the defective parts at the specific stage where the defect occurs. In this regard, Patent Document 1 relates to a method for attaching a seal tape, and discloses a method and apparatus in which the seal tape is attached to a jelly-roll type electrode assembly with appropriate adhesive force without being damaged or overlapping. However, Patent Document 1 does not provide a technology that can adjust the length of the seal tape in response to changes in the diameter of the jelly-roll type electrode assembly. Therefore, there is a need for a technology that can prevent sealing tape adhesion failure by supplying a sealing tape of an appropriate length according to the change in diameter of the jelly-roll type assembly supplied to the sealing tape attachment device.
