KR-20260062394-A - System and Method for providing sharing economy type valet parking platform
Abstract
A system is provided capable of providing an effective valet parking platform by utilizing surrounding idle resources (valet drivers, valet parking lots). The system is characterized by comprising: a plurality of user terminals that generate multiple application information for a valet parking platform service upon the creation of a valet parking request form by a user; a driver terminal that generates driver information for the valet parking platform service, receives application list information generated by collecting multiple application information, and selects a specific application information from the application list information to support a valet parking driver; and a valet parking management server that matches the specific application information with the driver information and transmits the matching result to one of the plurality of user terminals and the driver terminal.

Description
System and Method for providing sharing economy type valet parking platform The present invention relates to valet parking technology, and more specifically, to a system and method for improving parking service satisfaction by flexibly responding to temporary, sudden parking demand (or peak season). Due to the drastic difference in parking demand between peak and off-peak seasons, large shopping malls, event venues, and gymnasiums are able to operate parking smoothly during normal times, but often face temporary parking shortages during peak seasons, special events, and performances. As a result, the reality is that satisfaction with parking services has significantly declined, causing problems such as a decrease in overall service usage satisfaction. Constructing permanent parking infrastructure to meet sudden parking demands caused by seasonal or event-based factors cannot be the optimal solution in terms of spatial environmental conditions and return on investment efficiency. To elaborate, expanding permanent parking lots and raising parking fees to meet temporary surges in demand due to seasonal factors entails massive investment costs, while service satisfaction declines during off-peak seasons due to price increases. With the activation of IT (Information Technology) technologies such as SNS (Social Networking Service), sharing economy services (Uber, Baedal Minjok, etc.) have become established as everyday services, and there is no resistance to using gig economy services. Therefore, it is necessary to provide an effective valet parking platform by utilizing surrounding idle resources (valet drivers, valet parking lots, public parking lots, etc.). Furthermore, it is necessary to effectively respond to temporary, rapid increases in demand that cannot be accommodated by existing valet parking services, thereby minimizing permanent negative impacts such as long-term investment and parking fee hikes.
