Description

Method for manufacturing a cosmetic composition using the pericarp of quince The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cosmetic composition using the peel of a quince. More specifically, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cosmetic composition using the peel of a quince that can produce an anti-aging cosmetic with a stability effect using the peel of a quince. As the body's primary defense barrier, the skin protects internal organs from external environmental stimuli such as changes in temperature and humidity, ultraviolet rays, and pollutants, and plays an important role in maintaining biological homeostasis, including body temperature regulation. However, when various biochemical changes are induced within the cells constituting the skin due to cell-damaging stimuli such as excessive physical and chemical stimuli applied from the outside, stress, nutritional deficiencies, ultraviolet rays, environmental pollutants, and sudden temperature changes, it accelerates skin aging, resulting in the appearance of blemishes, freckles, dark spots, loss of elasticity, keratinization, and the formation of wrinkles. Skin is classified into various types, such as dry, normal, oily, or combination, depending on the condition of the skin surface; this is determined by the amount of NMF (natural moisturizing factor) and sebum. When the amount of NMF and sebum is well balanced, the skin maintains a moist and soft state. On the other hand, if too much sebum is secreted, it is easy to become oily or acne-prone skin. In oily skin, pores come to the surface; therefore, the presence of pores along with excessive sebum secretion on the skin surface makes the face look messy and causes makeup to wear off easily. Therefore, attention has focused on functions that overcome these problems to alleviate skin discomfort caused by sebum secretion, refresh the skin, and reduce skin irritation. Cosmetic ingredients that perform these functions are called "astringents." Astringents adjust the skin's condition to be closer to its original state and provide a cooling sensation; this is achieved by temporarily attracting skin proteins to suppress the secretion of excess sebum or sweat. However, chemical astringents have significant limitations in use because they cause many side effects in the human body. To overcome this, interest in natural astringents extracted from natural substances has begun to intensify, and various research results are being published. Meanwhile, quince is used to enjoy its unique fragrance by placing it in a room or car, but it is also widely used for medicinal purposes. Quince is beneficial for the liver, diuresis, and anemia in women. The fruit is effective for coughs and asthma, so people drink water boiled with quince or quince tea whenever they cough. Additionally, it is rich in organic acids that aid metabolism, promote the secretion of digestive enzymes, and soothe the stomach. It is also known that its abundant vitamin C and tannins are highly effective for relieving fatigue. In particular, quince contains many nutrients in its peel, just like the peels of apples and pears, but it was difficult to utilize because it is hard and difficult to peel. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop technology for manufacturing cosmetics such as skin toners, lotions, essences, creams, and lip balms using the peels of these quinces.
