KR-20260062562-A - White porridge by using gamma-oryzanol and manufacturing method for thereof
Abstract
A white porridge using gamma-oryzanol and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a material preparation step is performed in which materials including rice, white kidney beans, burdock root, and dried radish are washed and immersed in water; a material grinding step is performed in which the prepared materials are ground and then ground and cut; an addition step is performed in which gamma-oryzanol is added to the materials that have undergone the material grinding step; a processing step is performed in which the ground materials, salt, kelp, and sesame oil are placed in water and heated to form porridge; and a packaging step is performed in which the processed porridge is cooled and packaged. According to the present invention, there is an advantage in that white rice porridge containing gamma-oryzanol, which allows for various health benefits such as mental and physical stability and cholesterol reduction, can be consumed easily, conveniently, and without any aversion by users.

Description
White porridge by using gamma-oryzanol and manufacturing method for thereof The present invention relates to porridge and a method for manufacturing the same, and more specifically, to white porridge using gamma-oryzanol and a method for manufacturing the same. Gamma-oryzanol (γ-oryzanol) is a component used for the treatment of disorders and as a therapeutic agent; it refers to an ester of ferulic acid, present in the unsaponifiable matter of rice bran oil or rice germ oil, and an unsaturated terpene alcohol. It is known to have effects such as cholesterol reduction, antioxidant activity, blood pressure regulation, improvement of brain function, and improvement of digestion. This gamma-oryzanol can be extracted from rice bran, which is produced during the brown rice milling process, and various research and development efforts are underway to utilize it in the form of health functional foods. Meanwhile, traditional white rice porridge, made using only rice, is widely known as a porridge relatively preferred by the general public and patients due to the visual effect of its color and the fact that it contains only rice, which reduces the aversion felt by consumers. However, since this white porridge is made using only rice, it has the disadvantage of being nutritionally deficient. Therefore, if gamma-oryzanol, which has cholesterol-lowering and mental-stabilizing effects, is combined with other nutritional supplements in white porridge—which is relatively less off-putting—one can expect not only nutritional benefits and taste but also mental-stabilizing and cholesterol-lowering effects. In particular, there is a need to develop a food product that utilizes gamma-oryzanol in white rice porridge, which is less averse to human consumption, to offer not only nutritional benefits and taste but also mental and physical stability and cholesterol reduction. FIG. 1 is a flowchart illustrating the sequence in which a method for preparing white rice porridge using gamma-oryzanol according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention is implemented. The present invention is capable of various modifications and may have various embodiments, and specific embodiments are illustrated in the drawings and described in detail in the detailed description. However, this is not intended to limit the present invention to specific embodiments, and it should be understood that it includes all modifications, equivalents, and substitutions that fall within the spirit and scope of the invention. In describing each drawing, similar reference numerals have been used for similar components. In describing the present invention, detailed descriptions of related prior art are omitted if it is determined that such detailed descriptions could obscure the essence of the invention. Terms such as "first," "second," etc., may be used to describe various components, but said components should not be limited by said terms. These terms are used solely for the purpose of distinguishing one component from another. For example, without departing from the scope of the present invention, the first component may be named the second component, and similarly, the second component may also be named the first component. The term "and/or" includes a combination of multiple related listed items or any of the multiple related listed items. When it is stated that one component is "connected" or "joined" to another component, it should be understood that while it may be directly connected or joined to that other component, there may also be other components in between. On the other hand, when it is stated that one component is "directly connected" or "directly coupled" to another component, it should be understood that there are no other components in between. The terms used in this application are used merely to describe specific embodiments and are not intended to limit the invention.
