Abstract

The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for antioxidant and anti-aging purposes containing a mixed fermented extract of natural products. Specifically, the invention relates to a cosmetic composition that exhibits excellent antioxidant, wrinkle, and elasticity improvement effects by containing as an active ingredient a mixed fermented extract obtained by fermenting red ginseng, deer antler, Centella asiatica, Angelica gigas, Astragalus membranaceus, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Pueraria lobata, Crataegus pinnatifida fruit, ginger, and licorice.

Claims (8)

  1. A cosmetic composition containing a mixed fermented extract of red ginseng, deer antler, Centella asiatica, Angelica gigas, Astragalus membranaceus, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Pueraria root, Crataegus fruit, ginger, and licorice.
  2. A cosmetic composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the mixed fermented extract is obtained by fermenting and extracting a mixture of red ginseng, deer antler, Centella asiatica, Angelica gigas, Astragalus membranaceus, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Pueraria lobata, Crataegus pinnatifida fruit, ginger, and licorice using a Lactobacillus plantarum strain.
  3. A cosmetic composition according to claim 2, characterized in that the Lactobacillus plantarum strain is a mixed strain of Lactobacillus plantarum Wikim 125 (Accession No.: KFCC11871P), Lactobacillus plantarum Wikim 126 (Accession No.: KFCC11872P), and Lactobacillus plantarum Wikim 127 (Accession No.: KFCC11873P).

A cosmetic composition according to claim 2, characterized in that the mixture comprises red ginseng, deer antler, Centella asiatica, Angelica gigas, Astragalus membranaceus, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Pueraria root, Crataegus fruit, ginger, and licorice, each mixed in a weight ratio of 1.0~2.0 : 0.5~2.0 : 0.4~1.0 : 0.1~0.5 : 0.1~0.5 : 0.1~0.5 : 0.3~1.0 : 0.3~1.0 : 0.3~1.0 : 0.1~0.5.
  5. A cosmetic composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the mixed fermented extract is contained in an amount of 0.01 to 15 weight percent based on the total weight of the composition.
  6. A cosmetic composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the cosmetic composition is for antioxidant use or for anti-aging use to improve skin wrinkles and elasticity.

(A) A step of preparing a culture medium by culturing strains of Lactobacillus plantarum Wikim 125 (Accession No.: KFCC11871P), Lactobacillus plantarum Wikim 126 (Accession No.: KFCC11872P), and Lactobacillus plantarum Wikim 127 (Accession No.: KFCC11873P) in MRS medium at 20–30°C for 20–30 hours; (B) A step of preparing a mixture of red ginseng, deer antler, Centella asiatica, Angelica gigas, Astragalus membranaceus, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Pueraria root, Crataegus fruit, ginger, and licorice; (C) A step of preparing a primary fermented product by adding the culture solution prepared in step (A) and brine to the above mixture and fermenting at 20~30℃ for 2~3 days; (D) a step of transferring the above primary fermented product into an earthenware jar and fermenting it at 14–16°C for 15–29 days to produce a secondary fermented product; and (E) A method for preparing a mixed fermented extract comprising the step of filtering the above secondary fermented product, fermenting the filtrate at 4 to 6°C for 15 to 20 days, and then filtering the supernatant through a 0.45 μm filter.
  8. A method for preparing a mixed fermented extract according to claim 7, characterized in that the mixture comprises red ginseng, deer antler, Centella asiatica, Angelica gigas, Astragalus membranaceus, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Pueraria root, Crataegus fruit, ginger, and licorice, each mixed in a weight ratio of 1.0~2.0 : 0.5~2.0 : 0.4~1.0 : 0.1~0.5 : 0.1~0.5 : 0.1~0.5 : 0.3~1.0 : 0.3~1.0 : 0.3~1.0 : 0.1~0.5.

Antioxidant and anti-aging cosmetic composition containing fermented complex extracts of natural sources The present invention relates to an antioxidant and anti-aging cosmetic composition containing a mixed fermented extract of natural products. Specifically, the invention relates to a cosmetic composition that exhibits excellent antioxidant, wrinkle, and elasticity improvement effects by containing as an active ingredient a mixed fermented extract obtained by fermenting red ginseng, deer antler, Centella asiatica, Angelica gigas, Astragalus membranaceus, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Pueraria lobata, Crataegus pinnatifida fruit, ginger, and licorice. The most decisive cause of skin aging is reactive oxygen species (ROS). ROS are generated by external stimuli such as ultraviolet rays; they are highly reactive substances with incomplete electrons that react with DNA or lipids to induce necrosis of skin cells, as well as collagen deficiency and skin barrier defects through the breakdown of hyaluronic acid. Consequently, waste products such as lipid peroxides accumulate within the skin, leading to skin inflammation and the destruction of the skin barrier. This creates a vicious cycle in which inflammatory reactions generate ROS again, accelerating and continuously progressing skin aging. Accordingly, attention is focused on the development of antioxidants capable of inhibiting the oxidative action of reactive oxygen species generated by external stimuli. Due to ongoing issues regarding the safety of synthetic antioxidants for the environment and humanity, as well as the practice of eco-friendly management by many companies, research and development of natural antioxidants are actively underway. Tocopherol, lecithin, polyphenol, and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) have been used as natural antioxidants. Against this background, the inventors conducted research to develop a cosmetic product derived from natural materials that helps inhibit the generation of reactive oxygen species that may be generated by external stimuli and helps protect the skin. As a result, they confirmed that a mixed fermented extract obtained by mixing red ginseng, deer antler, Centella asiatica, Angelica gigas, Astragalus membranaceus, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos, Pueraria lobata, Crataegus pinnatifida, ginger, and licorice in specific proportions and fermenting it with lactic acid bacteria exhibits excellent antioxidant, skin wrinkle, and elasticity improvement effects, thereby completing the present invention.
