Description

Health Survey Algorithm for Recommending Nutritional Requirements and Health Supplements for Infants and Toddlers Various embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a health survey algorithm for recommending necessary nutrients for infants and health functional foods, and more specifically, to a health survey algorithm for recommending necessary nutrients for infants and health functional foods that allows one to easily receive recommendations/suggestions for necessary nutrients for infants and health functional foods (nutritional supplements) by conducting a health survey of an infant or young child through an accessible app. In 2023, the domestic health functional food market exceeded 6 trillion won, and the infant health functional food market also grew steadily at an annual average rate of 3.6% to 329.3 billion won in 2023. Along with the high growth rate, the accompanying adverse effects have also reached a level that cannot be ignored. Although approximately 500 new products are launched every day, the reality is that most of the best-selling products are known to consumers due to effective marketing rather than being inherently good products. Consequently, the health functional food market has become an attractive market where sellers can make money by spending time on marketing techniques rather than on product research. Although there are only a few specialized manufacturers of health supplements in Korea, there are thousands of health supplement brands; consequently, even though the products are made from the same raw materials, how they are marketed, packaged, and sold by which brand has become the trend in the health supplement market. Health supplements are defined as foods manufactured and processed into various forms, such as tablets, capsules, and liquids, using raw materials or ingredients that possess nutrients easily deficient in daily life or have 'functionality' beneficial to the human body. Although the definition of health functional foods is that they are products capable of helping consumers' health, sellers view them solely as a means of sales and are deceiving consumers. Cases of side effects frequently occur due to product sales based on exaggerated advertising or misinformation. The aforementioned background technology is one that the inventor possessed or acquired in the process of deriving the content of the present disclosure, and it cannot be considered as prior art disclosed to the general public prior to the filing of this application. The following drawings attached to this specification illustrate preferred embodiments of the present disclosure and serve to further enhance understanding of the technical concept of the present disclosure together with the detailed description of the invention; therefore, the present disclosure should not be interpreted as being limited only to the matters described in such drawings.
