Abstract

The present invention relates to a blockchain-based system for operating loans and paying interest on living organism data. The problem to be solved is to store clinical data, genetic information, life logs, diagnostic and medical imaging data of all living organisms, including individuals, animals, plants, and microorganisms, and to provide data lending and temporary sharing services utilizing decentralized finance. It also aims to maximize the utilization of biomedical data by enabling the safe and convenient lending of medical-related data of individuals and all living organisms, and allowing stakeholders to generate revenue through interest. For example, a blockchain-based loan operation and interest payment system for living organism data is disclosed, comprising: a data provider terminal that receives and uploads living organism data from a data provider and receives interest based on an interest rate determined by an artificial intelligence evaluation result of the uploaded living organism data; a data operation server that stores the living organism data uploaded by the data provider terminal in a blockchain network, sets a dynamic interest rate based on the value evaluation of the stored living organism data, pays interest to the data provider terminal according to the set dynamic interest rate, and provides a loan service for the living organism data stored in the blockchain network by entering into a smart contract with a data demander; and a data demander terminal that receives a loan service including the rental, storage, and sharing of the living organism data by entering into a smart contract with the data operation server.

Description

System for Operating Loan of Living Things Data and Paying Interest for the Living Things Data Based on Blockchain Embodiments of the present invention relate to the utilization and revenue generation of data on all living organisms on Earth based on blockchain, and in particular to a system for operating loans and paying interest on living organism data. More specifically, this relates to a loan operation and interest payment system utilizing bioinformatics authentication and security technology, economic and financial technology (fintech), biomedical and life science, and legal and ethical technologies to store, rent, temporarily share, and manage data related to living organisms (ALL BIOLOGICAL ENTITIES or Biome) using P2P distributed blockchain technology. In general, data related to all living things on Earth can include various types of information, such as genetic information, medical information, clinical information, and health information. Among such biological data, human and animal genetic information entails enormous costs for collection, sharing, and utilization; consequently, the collected data itself is recognized for its high economic value. Consequently, multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies frequently conduct their own in-house collection and analysis to facilitate its easy use. This is because complex procedures, usage limitations, and regulations regarding the utilization of public biological data exist in each country. Furthermore, regarding medical information among living organism-related data, demand for such services is increasing recently. This trend is driven by the utilization of information and communication technology to improve patient health status and diagnosis, aligning with rising healthcare expenditures, an aging population, public policies aimed at cost reduction, and customer-centric trends. Recently, pharmaceutical companies, venture firms, and large hospitals have joined forces to start commercializing personal genome analysis services. This is a predictive genetic test that primarily utilizes innate information; while it clearly offers the opportunity to diagnose, prevent, and treat certain diseases in advance, allowing it to be abused out of intoxication by its potential poses additional risks to the individuals using it and can lead to threats to public health or increased public health costs for society as a whole. However, while usage costs for utilizing personal genetic or medical information must be paid and compensation must be provided in exchange for such use, the reality is that there are no means or methods to systematize and operate this process.
