KR-20260063267-A - FROST REMOVAL DEVICE ON GLASS OF VEHICLE DOOR
Abstract
The present invention installs a heating element on the glass so as to be positioned around a weather strip configured on the car door when the glass is closed, and configures the system to supply power from a generator or battery to the heating element when the car is started in a situation where freezing may occur, thereby enabling the glass to be opened easily and safely along with the effect of removing freezing. In particular, by applying the present invention to a convertible vehicle or a car equipped with frameless doors, a short drop can be smoothly performed, in which the glass moves slightly downward when the door is opened or closed, allowing the door to be opened and closed smoothly. Additionally, by using a timer switch to supply or cut off power to the heating element, freezing on the glass can be removed in advance for a certain period of time when the car is started remotely, thereby enabling the car door to be opened safely and conveniently.

Description
Frost Removal Device on Glass of Vehicle Door The present invention relates to a de-icing device for glass used in automobile doors, and more specifically, by configuring the glass to be positioned around the weather strip when the glass is closed and to supply power from a battery or generator to the heating element as needed, the invention prevents the vehicle from idling for a long time or consuming power to remove ice formed on the glass. In particular, for convertible vehicles or vehicles equipped with frameless doors, the invention enables a smooth "short drop" function that causes the glass to slightly lower to protect the glass and weather strip when opening or closing the door. Furthermore, while the switch supplying power to the heating element can be operated manually, by using a timer switch that can be controlled to operate for a certain period from a distance, the invention enables smooth operation without the glass sticking to the weather strip or excessive load being applied to the operating motor. Generally, when the temperature around a vehicle is low, frost or ice forms on the car's glass. Since such frost or ice interferes with the driver's ability to ensure driving safety through the glass, it is removed for safe driving. (Patent Document 1) Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1647248 (Registration Date: August 3, 2016) The present invention relates to a frost removal device for an automobile, wherein a rapid hot air blower installed on the dashboard cover of the automobile via a circular support plate and a support member generates hot air rapidly using electricity generated from the cigarette lighter socket when the automobile is started, thereby enabling the rapid removal of frost formed on the windshield glass; wherein the rapid hot air blower can be easily and conveniently rotated left, right, up, and down at a certain angle to completely remove the frost from the windshield glass, thereby preventing accidents that may occur while driving the automobile and promoting safe driving; wherein the rapid removal of frost from the windshield glass shortens the vehicle's departure time and prevents fuel waste and pollution caused by the automobile's idling; and wherein a ceramic heating element formed by lamination on the inner circumference of the hot air discharge port connected to the front of the hot air blower body is heated by the hot air to emit negative ions and far-infrared rays beneficial to the human body, thereby maintaining the indoor air inside the automobile in a comfortable state. The technical configuration comprises a circular projection with a stepped fixing groove formed at its bottom, installed in the center of a circular support plate mounted on a dashboard cover in the interior of a vehicle; a cylindrical support member with a stepped portion formed at its bottom periphery, inserted into the stepped fixing groove of the circular projection to fix its lower portion, installed vertically above the circular projection; a bearing is installed above the stepped portion into which the circular projection is inserted to allow the cylindrical support member to rotate left and right; a cut-out groove for the entry of a wire is formed on one side of the cylindrical support member; the lower portion of a hot air blower support member, which extends vertically below the central part of the main body of a rapid hot air blower, is inserted and fixed inside the cylindrical support member so as to be inserted and withdrawn; a control unit connected to the wire is installed inside the hot air blower support member; and the control unit is connected to an on/off switch installed on the outside of the hot air blower support member. The gist of the invention is that, while being installed, a support piece is provided on the lower side of the central part of the main body of the rapid hot air blower, through which the upper part of the hot air blower support is supported and fixed via a hinge part, so that the main body of the hot air blower is installed to rotate up and down at a certain angle. (Patent Document 2)Korea Open UtilityNo. 20-2009-0004816 (Published: May 20, 2009) This invention relates to a cover for preventing frost and ice formation on automobile windows. It is designed to be usable even when the cover's dimensions exceed those of the automobile window, and to be easy to use through easy attachment and detachment, as well as to prevent accidental detachment caused by external factors. Conventional covers used for this purpose were designed to be attached to the surface of the automobile window by using straps or air suction cups formed on both the left and right sides of the cover. However, using a cover with such attachment and detachment means has the problem that if the provided cover's dimensions exceed those of the automobile window, the straps cannot be secured or the air suction cups cannot be attached, making it unusable. Furthermore, there is a problem with the gap b
