Description

Composition for shoe tree and shoe tree having odor and moisture removal function using the same The present invention relates to a composition for a shoe tree and a shoe tree having an odor and moisture removal function using the same, and more specifically, to a composition for a shoe tree comprising a functional material having dehumidifying and antibacterial properties and a shoe tree having an odor and moisture removal function using the same. A shoe tree is a tool inserted inside a shoe to maintain its shape and extend its lifespan. Specifically, shoe trees fill the ball of the foot, ankle, and front sections of the shoe to prevent deformation. Traditionally, shoe trees were made by carving wood. Shoe trees made of wood in this way possess hygroscopic and antibacterial properties depending on the unique characteristics and scent of the wood. Although shoe trees are also made of materials other than wood, such as plastic for cost advantages or metal for deformation resistance, wooden shoe trees have been primarily preferred due to their functional benefits. Meanwhile, in recent years, products have been released that additionally attach functional materials containing dehumidifying and deodorizing components to plastic shoe trees to gain an advantage in terms of price competitiveness and functionality. As an example of the technology forming the background of the present invention, Patent Document 1 discloses a shoe last containing ceramic balls, comprising a body portion formed in a shape that fits into an internal space at the front of the shoe, having an empty space formed inside and a plurality of perforations formed on the surface, and a plurality of ceramic balls stored in the empty space of the body. Meanwhile, diatomite is a natural mineral composed of fossilized shells of diatoms, a type of algae. It has a porous structure with many fine pores formed on its surface, so it has excellent hygroscopic properties and has the characteristic of adsorbing molecules that cause bad odors, so it also has excellent deodorizing capabilities. In addition, diatomaceous earth has the advantage of being a natural material that is harmless to the human body and eco-friendly, so it can be safely used in daily life, and it has the effect of reducing the impact on the environment compared to other chemical dehumidifiers or deodorizers. Accordingly, the applicant produced a shoe tree using diatomaceous earth, taking into account that producing a shoe tree using diatomaceous earth would be eco-friendly and could also be expected to have dehumidifying and deodorizing effects.
