Abstract

In a cargo box control system capable of reducing refrigeration load and a cargo box control method using the same, the cargo box control system includes a sensor unit, a fan unit, and a control unit. The sensor unit includes a first sensor that senses the open state of a pair of doors of the cargo box. The fan unit provides cooling heat to the interior space of the cargo box. The control unit controls the fan unit based on the sensing result of the first sensor. When either of the doors is open, the control unit operates the fan unit to provide cooling heat to the interior space.

Description

Loading container control system capable of reducing refrigeration load and loading container control method using the same The present invention relates to a cargo box control system and a cargo box control method using the same. More specifically, it relates to a cargo box control system capable of reducing refrigeration load and a cargo box control method using the same, by controlling the operation of a fan to maintain the cooling effect of the internal space above a certain level even when a part of the door is open during the loading and unloading process, or by controlling the operation of a fan based on the installation state of a barrier and the opening state of the door. FIG. 1 illustrates a barrier (2) applied to maintain the refrigerated state of the internal space during the loading and unloading process in a refrigerated cargo box (1) according to the prior art. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, conventionally, the barrier (2) was installed in the form of a vinyl curtain to maintain the refrigerated state of the internal space; however, in the actual loading and unloading process, the barrier (2) is mostly removed or kept in an open state due to reasons such as inconvenience to the worker. Consequently, it is often difficult to maintain the cooling state by the barrier (2). Meanwhile, as described in Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2022-0166215, in the case of conventional refrigerated cargo compartments, the refrigeration state of the internal space is maintained simply by an internal cooling fan; however, such a cooling fan operates mainly only when the refrigerated cargo compartment is closed and moving, and generally does not operate when the refrigerated cargo compartment is open during the actual loading and unloading process, along with the engine being turned off. Accordingly, although technologies for maintaining the refrigeration state of the internal space of the refrigerated cargo compartment in various ways, such as in Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1525438, have been developed, technologies for effectively controlling the refrigeration state of the internal space of the refrigerated cargo compartment when the door is opened during the actual loading and unloading process have not been developed. Figure 1 is an image illustrating a barrier of a cargo box according to the prior art. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram illustrating a cargo box control system according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3a is a schematic diagram for explaining the function of the first sensor of FIG. 2, and FIG. 3b is a schematic diagram for explaining the function of the second sensor of FIG. 2. FIGS. 4a and FIGS. 4b are side views illustrating the temperature and cold air flow conditions of the internal space when the cargo box is closed. FIGS. 5A and 5B are plan views illustrating the temperature and cold air flow conditions of the interior space with only one door open and the fan not operating. FIGS. 6A and FIGS. 6B are plan views illustrating the temperature and cold air flow conditions of the interior space when the fan unit is in operation with only one door open. FIGS. 7a and 7b are graphs showing changes in the temperature and heat loss of the internal space when the fan is operating with only one door open, and FIGS. 7c and 7d are graphs showing changes in the temperature and heat loss of the internal space when the fan is not operating. FIGS. 8a and 8b are graphs showing changes in the temperature and heat loss of the internal space when both doors are open and the fan is in operation, and FIGS. 7c and 7d are graphs showing changes in the temperature and heat loss of the internal space when the fan is not in operation. FIG. 9 is a flowchart illustrating a cargo box control method using the cargo box control system of FIG. 2.
