KR-20260063463-A - Oral device cleaning agent composition having bad breath prevention and stain prevention effects
Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for cleaning oral appliances comprising, as an active ingredient, a complex containing sea mustard extract, goldenrod extract, black sorghum extract, moss extract, green tea extract, fucoidan, and peppermint oil. A complex or composition containing raw materials obtained from such natural products has excellent antibacterial/antifungal effects against oral bacteria and fungi such as Streptococcus mutans , Porphyromonas gingivalis , and Candida albicans , has an efficacy in preventing bad breath, prevents the accumulation of tartar on oral appliances, and also has excellent efficacy in removing stains from beverages and food on oral appliances. Accordingly, by using the composition of the present invention, users of dental braces, temporomandibular joint braces, bruxism prevention devices, dentures, etc., can maintain more hygienic and clean oral care.

Description
Oral device cleaning agent composition having bad breath prevention and stain prevention effects The present invention relates to an oral appliance cleaning composition having efficacy in preventing bad breath and preventing discoloration. The number of people using various oral appliances, such as devices for orthodontics, temporomandibular joint correction, and bruxism prevention, as well as dentures, is increasing. Consequently, the cleaning of these appliances is closely linked to dental health and oral diseases. Therefore, the removal of dental plaque—composed of microorganisms and their byproducts adhering to the surface of these appliances—is crucial. Currently, various physical devices or chemical compositions are primarily available to remove deposits like dental plaque; thus, there is a growing need for natural-type oral appliance cleaners that are easy to use and harmless to the human body. While imported products developed abroad are manufactured in tablet form in the recent market, they are inconvenient to use after every meal, leading consumers to use toothpaste or dish soap as substitutes. Accordingly, the inventors have completed the present invention by confirming that a hygienic oral environment can be maintained by using a composition containing various natural extracts with excellent antibacterial, deodorizing, and cleaning efficacy as an oral appliance cleaner. Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described herein and may be embodied in other forms. Rather, the content introduced herein is provided to fully convey the concept of the present invention to those skilled in the art, so that it may be thorough and complete. <Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3. Preparation of Composite for Oral Appliance Cleaning> The main active ingredients of the oral appliance cleaning composition of the present invention, namely sea mustard extract, golden root extract, black harang extract, whole plant extract of moss, green tea leaf extract, fucoidan, and peppermint oil, were first mixed as shown in Table 1 below to first confirm the efficacy of various antibacterial and bad breath prevention effects. This is also a procedure to select the most effective composition for cleaning oral appliances and to verify appropriate mixing conditions or formulation stabilization conditions with the remaining ingredients, namely eucalyptus oil, calendula flower extract, chamomile flower extract, papain, protease, bromelain, ethanol, sodium bicarbonate, L-menthol, glycerin, cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium cocoyl glutamate, floxamer 407, hydrogenated castor oil, grapefruit seed extract prepared as a flavoring, and purified water. raw materialsExample 1Example 2Example 3 Comparative Example 1Comparative Example 2Comparative Example 3Seaweed extract (g)1.001.001.00 0.001.001.00Golden extract (g)3.005.002.00 0.001.001.00Heukharang extract (g)4.003.006.00 0.001.001.00moss extract (g)3.802.005.00 0.001.001.00Green tea extract (g)1.000.502.00 1.000.001.00Fucoidan (g)0.100.050.50 0.000.000.03Peppermint oil (g)15.0016.3511.40 26.9023.9022.87Subtotal (g)27.9027.9027.90 27.9027.9027.90 Each extract used as a raw material was prepared by adding 10 times its weight of a 70% (v/v) ethanol aqueous solution and extracting at 60°C for 8 hours, then concentrating the resulting liquid under reduced pressure and freeze-drying it. Peppermint oil and eucalyptus oil to be used later were purchased as products manufactured as essential oils. Other raw materials, such as excipients and enzymes, were purchased and used as ingredients commonly used in food or mouthwashes. <Formulation Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Formulation Examples 1 to 5. To this end, six types of excipients corresponding to each formulation composition were prepared and compared. The compositions in Tables 2 and 3 were prepared to verify the formulation state according to the content of excipients and the presence or absence of ingredients, and Table 4 is a formulation composition prepared using the components and content of the complex of Comparative Example 3, but there are also differences in the excipients.
