Description
Automatic flushing toilet The present invention relates to a toilet installed in a restroom, and more specifically, to an automatic flushing toilet that automatically raises the toilet cover and seat when a user is detected, plays audio while in use, and automatically flushes the toilet and lowers the toilet cover and seat after use. Generally, a toilet is configured to include a seat for a user to sit on, a toilet body provided at the bottom of the seat and filled with water, and a cover provided on the seat to open and close the toilet body. Additionally, a water tank filled with water is provided at the rear to supply water to the toilet body, and the water tank is equipped with an operating lever that operates the supply of water filled inside to the toilet body. To use this toilet, you must lift the cover or seat by hand to open it depending on the situation, and press the operating lever to flush after use. However, in the case of toilets installed in public restrooms such as subways or terminals, one must touch the operating lever or cover that has been touched by other people, so there is a problem that one can become infected with infectious diseases such as the common cold and flu, as well as bacteria, through indirect contact with an unspecified number of people using the toilet, and in particular, young children and the elderly with weak immune systems can become infected with bacteria through the operating lever, cover, and seat. In addition, in the case of public restrooms, there was an issue of inconvenience as users might leave without pressing the operating lever after using the toilet or forget to press it, requiring other users to press the lever again to flush out any remaining waste. To solve these problems, the "automatic flushing device for a toilet" (hereinafter referred to as "Patent Document 1"), published in the Registered Patent Publication No. 10-1975273 of the Korean Intellectual Property Office, automatically operates the operating lever to flush the toilet after urinating or defecating through the toilet, thereby preventing bacterial infection through the operating lever when using a toilet in a public restroom, as the user does not need to press or touch the operating lever that is touched by an unspecified number of people to flush the toilet. In addition, the "toilet equipped with automatic lid opening/closing and automatic flushing functions using a sensor" (hereinafter referred to as "Patent Document 2") disclosed in the Korean Intellectual Property Office Publication No. 10-2022-0033172 allows the user to easily open and close the toilet lid using a sensor without having to open and close the toilet lid directly with their hand, and additionally allows the user to flush using a sensor after using the toilet. FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram illustrating the overall configuration of an automatic flushing toilet according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a detailed configuration block diagram of the smart toilet controller shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 is a flowchart illustrating the overall operation of an automatic flushing toilet according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating the operation procedure of a smartphone and a toilet controller in an automatic flushing toilet according to an embodiment of the present invention.
